Love this style of tent. As you mentioned. They do tend to suffer a bit with condensation. Especially if on a dewy field. (Recently tested mine at 3 rivers camping) But they dry pretty quick and the best part is sleeping with the net zipped up and the front tarp (flap) open to see the sunrise in the morning.
    Great overview.
    Take care
    Rich

Love this tent for my woodland spring/summer camps. I use a Vaude Hogan for the mountains and winter use but for anyone wanting a good medium between a tarp and a tent to soak in that woodland wildlife you can’t go far wrong with a BB. Cracking video pal. 🤙

You’ll love it. It’s a great tent especially if your paddling.

I have an old version of this tent that I paid $50 US . It is a great tent. I did do a number of alterations that I cover in one of my videos. I have used it in some very nasty weather with no complaints. I like the new version you have. Thank you for the review.

This worked really well for my Packrafting expedition in Sweden. No condensation but that was down to the weather.
I think this will condensate in the Cooler weather.

@@Vildmark I use mine for long canoe trips, sometimes with a folding wood stove tucked under the awning. I never zip the awning down. In bad weather I use quilting pins to attach a small tarp to the weather sides of the awning. No condensation at all. Both Bill Mason and Calvin Rutstrum loved this shelter and so do I.

I think it’s an amazing shelter.

Looks hot for hot humid Texas weather. Probably could pour out the condensate.

I grew up in South East Texas. The only place I would dare camp in the summer is at the beach cause there's always a nice cool wind at night. Anywhere else your gonna suffer. If the mosquitos don't suck you dry, sweating a few gallons out will lol

But I will say, you can't beat winter camping in central Texas or east Texas.

Good review etc glad you mentioned the concerns about condensation and the footprint etc. Like you say £83 ain't a bad deal, cost you best part of £40 for tarp ( although I do like a tarp and the versatility it brings 😉)
I like the style of the baker tents for bushcraft etc or along the river bank etc. Great for that 👍

I don’t think you can beat a tarp. My problem with tarp camping is the bugs love me. So either a mozzie net tent like this or the good old faithful frontline hammock.

@@Vildmark yeh I have DD mesh tent that's brilliant. My favourite set up for the warmer months ( I prefer ground dwelling with Billydog).

My dog will sleep in the hammock but she misjudged it and went through the net on the other side. Meaning new hammock needed.

So in reality.....it's just a fair weather tent with a £90 price tag...Nope from me

No on the contrary. It will withhold a good bit of weather just will condensate in cooler environments. I’ve use it as a 3 season tent
