Tote bag! Great pod topic guys! I thought you guys would make a big announcement towards the end of it but I am glad you’re keeping some big news for later :) The latest risk I took was 4 years ago ( when I turned 30yrs old!) when I quit my financially and emotionally confortable life in Stockholm(Sweden) to relocate to Sydney, Australia, and start over, looking for a job, a visa, a small apartment to rent, making new friends etc. Can’t wait to listen/watch more of your podcasts ! Keep up to the good vibes! Loving what you both do! Ps: I totally relate to Yoni. French being my mother tong, some words would naturally pop up in my head while speaking English, especially when I’m exhausted 😅 I wish my accent would be less French-Scandinavian though and more like yours though, Yoni!
The timing of this omg, I’m literally taking a risk next week in moving to a different state! Thank you for your perspective on taking risks! Love you guys 🫶
I've never been this early. I love that for me I listen to your podcast episodes religiously when there are no new episodes I go back to your old episodes 💙 I really enjoy listening to y'all 🤍
Another amazing episode guys 💙💙Tote bag day 😤😤 life is all about taking risks, great and not so great things can happen but if you don’t take it you will never know how amazing it could be 💯
This was a great podcast: but Alia you have to stop being controlling and rushing your partner to be quiet or hurry up with what he’s trying to say. He allows you to speak and you have to have the same respect for him. It’s fine if y’all get off topic that’s what makes the podcast authentic, real and enjoyable to watch. Relax. And when Yoni stated his surprise when you stated they taught English in Romania; you facial expression was like, duh yeah what a dumb thing to say. everything is about perception and how the other person interprets the information and sometimes when I watch the podcast I get the impression that you wanna be in control of everything and sometimes you don’t allow Yoni the space and time to say what he needs to say no matter how long and drawn out it may be but when you speak, and it’s long and drawn out or off topic its ok. When you get some time, go back and look at some of your previous episodes and you will see exactly what you do and hopefully you notice your behavior., so that you’ll eventually learn to be mindful of it. Otherwise great episode and I am a fan.
Alia, I’m gonna take a risk and say this but, DANG I can’t believe I missed u! I heard your dance story before but somehow not the part that your school was in Toronto! That’s literally 45 mins from my house(well two hours with traffic lol)! But had I seen you there struggling with English and culture I would have taken the time to get to know you, not because who you are now but because of who I am! I also enjoy risks and travelled alone from 16-21 I was travelling the states myself with ppl I didn’t know or had never before met! I don’t have the dance skills you do to be sure but I did go on a mission trip to China when I was 17. I believe if you Google it you can find the article in the Maine papers(Sylvie Venter age 17 detained by Chinese police), something like that! I have a story to tell and even tho I’m turning 30 this year and have 4 kids😅😅😅 I relate to you on a lot of levels-on even more levels I aspire to be like you, cool, calm, collected🫶🏼 I really enjoy the podcast and you and Yoni going back and forth remind me of me and my partner when we get our moments alone to talk and “flirt”, it’s so nice to have that special someone to pester for life! To know and be known, ya know😝
Tote bag!
