I'm from UK and travelled through Mississippi 2 years ago. Loved it !! 99% of people I met ( black or white ) were generous , kind hearted and helpful . Yes, Mississippi has a bloody history but somehow the people there have retained a spirit of Humanity - they could give lessons to other ( so called richer , better educated ) states !!
Dear Mississippians, Let’s not let others tell our story about our state. The state is behind but his reporting is incorrect and and not as accurate about the hospitality state.
I live in Mississippi. If there is anything I've learned from it it is this. A large percentage of these people are the friendliest you could ever meet anywhere. They don't care how much money you have or how smart you are. They just care about how you are. I'm willing to bet the guy that made this can't say the same about where he's from.
@Jordan Wolfe Maybe you were talking to the wrong people. I’m a Mississippian and the people I’ve met and talked to are the most kind and sweet people I’ve ever seen.
@Jordan Wolfe your profile picture I a furry, Mississippi is literally the most Conservative state in the country. Just considering your profile picture I am willing to bet it’s a you problem, not a them problem. What happened there that made you so uncomfortable that you refer to it as “Missishitty” ?
@Jordan Wolfe oh ok. You butt hurt about Mississippi cause you got jacked lol. I'm from Meridian born and raised never been robbed by any thugs. You must just be a weakling and whoever robbed you felt it.
I'm from California and I visited my family in Mississippi. They are the friendliest people and kind hearted. And I didn't see no homeless camps or tents everywhere like you do in Cali.
Thats true but there still poverty in Mississippi in the delta and else its poorest state in the country there people living in Trailor parks down there poverty bad education obesity crime there re a-lot of farmers and Rednecks living down there its corrupt run by the Dixie mafia and lots of racism a history of it it seems that every place in Mississippi is bad except for the delta or Biloxi but even they have there stories of twists and tails. Its dirt poor state. Its also got alot of tornadoes 🌪 just recently they had it. Alot of civil rights racist movies are set in Mississippi
Please don't move to our state, most people from other places are miserable and have a big ego considering their appearance and character. Mississippians love these videos. We hope to keep this a secret for as long as possible..
Mississippi is the poorest state but is the most charitable state so whats that tell you about the people of Mississippi.we are loving and caring people when others are in need,we are a shining light for humanity and compassion.
@@davdon78 No, your probably from a bad part. Just like with all states, each have their own ingrained prejudices and impartialities. We are a southern state and there is racism, but we've progressed immensely and I'm very proud. I'm sorry you've seen and maybe have been a victim to it's pitfalls but I do have to say that nowadays, predjudices of all races are coming to light. I've been a 'victim' as well as folks I know, black Asian, Latino is a big one, Indian as well, and so forth. Being passed for jobs because I'm white. Called all the terms in the book, bullied in school etc but I don't label it as racism as most would denied it's possible, but it is. We are a slower state at change, but change is happening and the racism that was at plague 60 years ago is no where in sight. But we both are from different areas of the state, different ages presumably, life experiences, family living etc, so we are entitled to our own opinion about the situation. Have a good day my friend and stay empowered to make change where it's needed.
The places you picked for this video are mostly unknown to the majority of Mississippians. But, thanks for doing this video, we don’t want too many people to move here and destroy our great way of life.
Yeah it’s terrible here, run and don’t look back. More space for me to stretch out and the right to choose how to. I need to get off the internet, the provider shuts us off at sundown.
@@jimcacy6005 yeah exactly, I've been here almost my entire life, I'm 32, and I've NEVER heard someone pronounce it like that. I know we talk weird, and all, but not that strange LMAO 😂
I'm from Texas and, frankly, the idea anyone in Oregon can speak bad of any southern state is hilarious. Literally taking a road trip to Florence this weekend. Much love my good folks!
Interesting that he raved about lack of education, but he can't pronounce a lot of words, including Mississippi, hunerd (hundred), and says people didn't graduate high school (nobody does, you graduate FROM high school). So, I think if I were him I'd not talk too much about others not being educated.
I love how you had to include my hometown of Flora. I've grown up here and actually it's not one of the worst towns in Mississippi. Its 1 of the quietest towns.
SHUT UP!!! The whole idea is to keep the idiots out, not tell them it's a nice quiet place. Many towns like Sierra Vista Arizona are being RUINED because of stupid videos telling every idiot of how cheap it was and how nice and quiet it was. Now, all the morons from Commie-fornia are moving there and ruining the place.
Hey, y'all. I travel to and through Mississippi off and on. I think MS is a pretty state and its people are very friendly. Stop with the bashing of Mississippi and other Southern states!!!!
Glad to see fellow Mississippians standing up for our beautiful state! I'm from Laurel and some of the BEST people come from here. Yes, some may be poorer but GRATITUDE tends to be more common because we FIGHT for what we have!
I was born in Laurel, and the majority of my family lives there. I love the southern hospitality. Would I move back there? No. I went through Meridian, and was praying to God he got me outta that town. I love my state. Just not enough to move back there
I've currently live in Massachusetts, but spent almost a year in Mississippi. I would rather spend time with people down south than the overly "educated" residents of my state any day of the week.
I moved to Tutwiler, MS from Memphis about two years ago. I have NO regrets. I may have to travel a little for shopping, but I can have peace at home. These folks have welcomed me like family.
@@ehinton4006 I own my own business out of Memphis. Before Coronavirus, I was driving up six days a week. Now I'm on the road three to four times a week.
Nice I mean the South does have the friendliest people in the country so that makes sense. Idk much about Tutwiler but people in the comments are saying it sux so they're probably right but at least you like it.
Born and raised in Mississippi and yeah, some areas aren’t the best, but it’s my home and I’m glad I was raised in this state. Taught me how to be humble and kind.
Hello, I am planning to move from Dallas ,Texas and I would like to know how much is the average price per acre outside Hattiesburg city limits, in a country about 30 minutes away from west of Hattiesburg. Thank you
@@kumara5492 I don’t know about Hattiesburg but I know that a descent amount of land in Gulfport goes for at least 20-40 thousand. I know someone who sold land and got around 25 thousand for it.
@@kumara5492 around Hattiesburg is much more wealthier since Hattiesburg is one of the bigger cities and more populated. Im 20 and lived in Mississippi for 18 years in the military so not there right now but last I remember an acre was around $2k-6k depending on where you go. It’s honestly an amazing state. There are a lot more nicer people than there are mean. Vast majority is Christian. And a lot of them are Conservatives. Again, they’re all really nice though and would do anything for a stranger.
@@tannerstevens4093 That's exactly why I am moving. When any city or State grow in population ,people become more crazier , like California or New York and now Texas. I prefer laid back State where I can share life with quality people.
I will give Mississippi this: when I travel, I take US highways and state highways so I can see how the folks of a given state really live. I got lost in Mississippi. REALLY lost. Like, 20 miles away from the highway where I wanted to be, lost. It was a Sunday afternoon; I drove into a driveway and asked for directions. They explained I was *really* lost -- and invited me in for Sunday dinner. They did not know me from Adam. It was a wonderful dinner, and they were wonderful hosts. Afterwards, they wrote out the directions I needed to get back to the highway I wanted to be on. You *hear* about Southern hospitality; but I actually *experienced* it. Mississippians are truly "the salt of the earth".
I'm a truck driver from georgia ,and I use to love stopping in Mississippi the sistas are gorgeous, shout out Jackson.meridian, biloxi,Gulfport, Vicksburg, natchez, and all the places I forgot with fine sistas
I’m from Forest, Mississippi. I’ve lived here all my life and I’m proud to be from Mississippi. I work as a Desk Clerk in Econo Lodge and I see people from every where and some people are shocked at how nice everyone is. I love people and I don’t judge people by the color of their skin but by the Spirit in their eyes.
I say DO NOT MOVE TO MISSISSIPPI....I LIKE MY BIG YARDS AND HUNDREDS OF ACRES TO HUNT AND FISH ON WITH MY FAMILY! STAY WHERE EVER YOU ARE! I DONT WANT NEIGHBORS! Live in California, New Mexico, Denver, Ohio....anywhere except in my town!
I've spent the majority of my life on the Mississippi gulf coast. As a military dependant, I was able to travel all over the world but I always come back to the gulf coast. We may be poor but by God, we have some of the BEST hearts.
I was thinking the same thing, like idk anyone who says Mississippi that way lmao. Not anyone from here anyway, we actually pronounce it the right way hahaha.
Worked in Tupelo after the military,I lived in Mantachie in Ittawamba county,I have family still there in Tupelo. It's a very polite friendly place, true very poor in some areas. However it is Hard to Beat Casino Alley on the Gulf..I believe there are like 8 casinos from Louisiana to Alabama...it's like any other state...the Leadership controls the growth...bring in more jobs get control of school system because they have plenty of great colleges...
I love how judgmental a Pacific NW person is of Mississippi. So glad I don't plan on ever visiting Oregon. I can't make judgement on how bad their towns are like this person has done. I love my MS. My town didn't make the list but it's small, the job opportunity here is low, but instead you drive 20-30+ minutes everyday with very little traffic. Life can be better and more enjoyable when you live in a small town because there's always someone there to help you...even when you have a flat tire on the side of the road!
Mississippi is the best state to go to college, best foods, best weather, best fishing, best hunting, best women, safest streets, best place to open a business, best drivers, best mechanics, etc
I'm from Mississippi and it's my home. I live in ocean springs which is one of the best places to live in Mississippi. I live in a well populated are I have left my doors unlocked and have had yeti cooler and expensive lawn equipment left out for months and have never questioned a theft ever. Look it up it has the best school in Mississippi and as a welder I've worked steady for 7 years at the same place 75000 a year with mortgage only 600 dollars a month and taxes is 900 with a very nice home and I work with churches that help people on drugs and alcohol and whatever else people need it's great people. I can literally walk up to everyone and tell them Jesus loves them and no one will try to attack me. We are a bible state and I am proud of that and poor people give to poor it's just a great state. Even the cops are great. My pastor is a police officer and he literally gets people whom are on drugs and brings them to church instead of jail. People make mistakes and other police friend is over in Africa preaching and helping the children over there. You never hear on the news of pastors or law enforcement doing these things.
William Logan, I moved to Ocean Springs about a year ago. I am currently renting. I'm probably not in the best part of the neighborhood of Savanna Pines @ $1100 per month!! Looking to move to another neighborhood. Perhaps you could lend me some insight!! I'm finding it really hard to find organic and free-range types of foods. We were supposed to get an Aldi's here but that fell through. Of course there is a Waffle House on every corner but I don't eat there! Downtown area with its little shops and restaurants and the beach is very picturesque.
I use to live in Savannah pines on Paula circle but that was when it was brand new like 7 years ago. I was running down when I left. I think at that time 3 bedroom 2 bathroom 2 car garage was 900 per month brand new construction. If your looking for new construction plenty of new homes over by the super Walmart area. Or the appartment the new "in let" looks like it will be nice. Or if your like me and want a good structure and some simple cosmetics changes over by the older part of ocean springs middle school is a good area or closer to downtown will be more expensive I'm sure. You should probably get a realtor if your more serious about moving. My realtor was great. I had a complicated buy she pulled it off. I bought the house I rented and its commercial and it owned by a group of people. Very complex. I spent 6 weeks closing. But that was because of the situation you probably want have that.
@@butchieblock9118 That is because the City didn't bother to check and see that the proposed Aldi's site is on wetlands. Plus the old Delchamps store was still vacant.

Beside the mosquitoes, gnats, fire ants, and heat there's no other place better than MISSISSIPPI. Great food...great ppl...and this MAJOR thing we call SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY!!! 💯
I live in Jackson, but my mother was from Mound Bayou and I have family in Choctaw. I was in Shaw a couple of months ago. I miss spending time in the Delta...
Being a lifelong resident of Mississippi, these are completely inaccurate and only based on education and poverty level. Our state has WAY worse areas, and we are one of the most caring states possible. The reason why poverty is so high is because we all help and assist one another, grow our own foods, and stick together. We may be poor in finance, but we are rich in love!
I love Mississippi, well I’m more of a country person mississippi for me is a state of simplicity and happiness.. we may not be rich in terms of money but but we are rich with kindness and compassion...
Booty Juice I’d say a 1600 square foot home on a 1 acre lot purchased for $125,000 in Mississippi makes for a much better lifestyle than a 700 square foot efficiency apartment in a New York high rise.
@@SOSuccor I wouldn't say all of them, but, most of the rude people are the ghetto ones and the racist ones (from my experiences), which are *EVERYWHERE* in the state. Mainly the Central South.

I've lived all over the eastern United States. Dallas, Annapolis, Miami, New Orleans, and I now live in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi and I think I have won the lottery.
@Daddly Lou Gerera I mean I was just in MS not lonk affer I wrote da post. Boy lemme tell ya now they are nice people mostly. But, I wouldn't want to live in MS lol
The Civil War Museum in Vicksburg is worth a visit. They have the remains of an "ironclad" river gun boat on display which is amazing. It sank in just few minutes after hitting a mine and many of the crew members' personal possessions are on display.
I’m a proud East Texan and always will be, but I moved to Mississippi for about 2 years and came to love the people there very fast! The people treat you with respect & kindness no matter what your “status” is. They are very similar to folks here in Texas.....down to earth, friendly and kindhearted. That being said, the town of Byhalia where I living, was an absolute shit hole! I blame it on the fact that it’s located too close to Memphis. If you’re familiar with Memphis you know what I mean
You might have just sold me on retiring in Mississippi. When you retire, your kids will be grown so you do not have to worry about education. When you are retired you do not need to worry about income levels or unemployment rates. So therefore, low cost of living, and low housing cost are some of the most important stats. Of course, this can all change in the next 20 or 30 years.
As a Mississippian your retirement plan sounds great except for one major flaw. The fact that if you are older you will need a doctor and guess where they would have most likely been educated at🤔🤐😒😔
Clamekus Johnson I’m a nurse in MS, we have great doctors from all over the world including MS. As a matter of fact my husband is cancer free because the doctor that came to our cancer center focused on the very rare cancer my husband had and knew right off what chemo to give him. The radiation doctor was from Japan and was quick to know what to do. We are 6 yrs cancer free. My three sister in laws are cancer free also, same cancer center. Another thing, in MS if you don’t have insurance doctors and hospitals will still treat you as if you had insurance, no one is turned away.
@@grandmap3389 My wife died at St Dominic. I heard more about donating organs then her treatment there. Same at Natchez Regional in Mississippi. So I may be Prejudice to the medical facilities of Mississippi. And if you think that's just an isolated case, my mother broke her leg several months ago. The doctor took x-rays twice after her constant complaining of pain. it took another visit to a different doctor to show the x-rays where her broken leg was not just a hairline fracture, but a complete break a month later.
I came to MS. after hurricane Katrina. We had planned on doing volunteer work in the hardest hit areas but were told it was to dangerous at the time. We decided to go north. We finally found a hotel room in Laurel and looking around could see they needed help here. We were here to help them but everyone we met would ask if we needed help with anything. I met a lot of amazing people. After it was over it was time to decide whether to go home or stay. I decided to stay and haven't regretted it for one minute.
Thanks for the help, Dan. Katrina made a real mess of things. We can't possibly express our gratitude for all of y'all who came to help us pick up the pieces.
I'm originally from Laurel and you said it right Daniel, the difference from MS folks to the disaster in N.O. at the same time shows what hard work and community is all about. New Orleans sadly suffered horribly because of terrible democratic policies that have hurt that town & half the state for decades. Most of those dependent on government didn't know what to do when their government gave up however we didn't wait for our government in MS; we got after it and got it done!
MS has a way of doing that... moved around a lot growing up, but always found myself back home. "Where they know you by name and treat you like family. Where a man's good word and a handshake is all you need."

88Gibson LesPaul well I've met plenty folks like that. Some even accused me of not being a 'true Baptist'. Musically, I like hip hop, metal, smooth jazz, and all kinds of gospel music. My maternal grandfather came from Mississippi. When I lived in Memphis, I used to enjoy shopping in DeSoto County.
88Gibson LesPaul thanks for sharing. Christianity isn't oppressive as you say, in fact, it's true. Some however would have us think that the way this church or that denomination does it right when the Bible says otherwise. I may belong to a denomination but I belonged to Jesus first and believe the Bible too, that's what really matters. Peace love and blessings friend.

I live in Mississippi and yes this place is a terrible place but from my experience it's because all of the people in government are power hungry and old. They don't do anything to help the economy or people. But the biggest crime is the way you pronounce Mississippi.
As a citizen of Mississippi, I'm suprised my lil' old town wasnt on here. But it isn't as bad as he portrays it to be. Ive been to like three of these, one of which I live near, and they aren't that bad.
Doesn't matter what anyone says. We know who we are, we take care of one another. Yes there are poor people but we do not nor would we ever let a place such as skidrow exist in Mississippi. Amazing to me the wealthiest states also have the highest amount of crime & homeless people. We would never intentionally let someone go hungry or sleep out in the weather.
@@numbernine3436 Hi, I live in one of those wealthy states, namely California, and we not only have more than our share of crime here, but you can barely drive a mile without seeing people sleeping on the streets. Proud Mississippian from Picayune and Hattiesburg. Been all over Mississippi. I didn’t grow up wealthy and grew up in the middle of the woods. Mississippi is a beautiful state depending on where you go. The cities just like any are usually dirty so the countryside of the state is much nicer and I highly recommend going into the country vs the cities. I very fortunately grew up and went to an A+ school so idk what’s going on with the whole “scrap the education” I guess it’s worse in some areas but that’s for every part of the US. As for the people there… the majority of Mississippians are the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Say thank you for everything, you’re welcome, hold the door for you, talk to you, they’ll do anything. My mom ran out of gas one day and a few people pushed her car half a mile to the gas station. They didn’t ask for anything just told her to have an amazing day and God bless. A lot of people are Christian btw. But the people in Mississippi are the nicest people in the world and I’m willing to put that on everything. Mississippi is an amazing place and a lot of things you hear about it from people whether they seem educated or not are lies and they don’t know what they’re talking about. Try speaking to a person from Mississippi that actually likes Mississippi and they’ll tell you everything amazing about Mississippi.
Not everyone can alot of us wanna see the world more and it's alot if us poor people here who wanna make it out somewhere else big enough with many opportunities and money, especially see more people and places we ain't never heard of or seen, go to big concerts and all.
Shit I'm from up north but I went to Mississippi every summer growing up. My step father is from Edwards Mississippi. Most of his nephews & nieces that's my age today about 40 all went to college right there in Mississippi. I never looked at Mississippi as poor it was just the country to me. I been down south a whole lot even lived in Alabama for while as well.
As someone who has lived in Yazoo City Mississippi for the past 12 years, Mississippi isn't as bad as it seems, tons of nice folks and sure it has its ups and downs but, it's the place I love and call home🙂
I'm from Mississippi and I must say that he chose only small towns to display which made it easy to say Mississippi is poor, slow etc. You got Clarksdale, Tunica, South Haven, and all in between on that end with great education, great work force higher standard living conditions and if needed a high crime volume. Everybody that venture out from Mississippi feel great amongst there return because ain't no place like home. GREAT PEOPLE!!!
By the way, for those who don't know, Brett Favre and James Earl Jones were both born and raised in Mississippi, and even though he was born in Memphis, Morgan Freeman was raised in Greenwood, MS until he was about 18 or 19. So, for someone to say Mississippians are "backwards", unintelligent, or poorly educated would be ignorant and an egregious assumption on their part.

If you ever get pulled over and they learn your name, you WILL be forever harassed. You'll end up with constant fines and tickets, probation, community service, and before you can finish paying them off, they will see your car and pull you over for no reason so that they can give you more tickets. They set up regular(several per week) roadblocks just to give out tickets to people who just need to get to work or the store. You have no rights , your license will end up suspended, you will get bogus charges/tickets, and they WILL lose records of tickets that have already been paid. so you will end up with warrants over fines that have been paid, but if you lose your reciepts, get ready to end up being arrested on a contempt of court warrant and made to pay the same thing again. you may lose your job by missing days of work because youve been arrested over stuff youve already taken care of. if you get your license reinstated, all of the sudden youll see random citations that shouldnt be there because you cannot, i repeat CAN NOT get yout license reinstated with old fines on your record that are unpaid, but you just got your license reinstated and a couple of months later, BAM! there's a couple of tickets that shouldnt be there since you JUST got a clear slip to reinstate your license. where did they come from? who knows! but if you dont pay it. license goes bye bye again. you get the picture. oh and good luck getting any kind of footstamps or government assistance. they act like youre garbage and they personally are going to be the ones giving yiu financial assistance. also, the state loves to snatch kids away from families to send to foster homes. YOU WILL HAVE HELL getting them back. since the foster parents make money off the kids, there have to be some kind of deals that have been made between social workers and foster parents to steal kids from families and they split the money. im not big on conspiracies, but i have seen a LOT of families who are not on drugs they have jobs and clean homes, yet for some reason, they lose the kids. it takes years to get them back if you can get them back at all. you will only find work here in fast food making 7.25 per hour. there is no progress to be made here. the housing is shit. law enforcement and other government agencies are almost openly corrupt. the schools and jobs are shitty. just stay far away from this place. seriously. there is nothing here but sorrow. i promise. you'll end up losing it all here. yeah the people are ok for the most part, but its no place to raise kids. they have nothing here for kids or adults to do at all so everyone ends up on drugs or working dead end jobs at mcdonalds and super happy when they can find a job that will pay them 8 bucks an hour. like 8 bucks an hour is what to strive for, a real achievement and something to celebrate. just dont come here. save yourself before its too late. once you come you can never leave because something here will screw your life up and force you to stay here doing life in reverse. i swear.
ill clarify. these things that i have mentioned here, theyre not just my life's problems. this stuff happens or has happened to almost everyone that i know. and to each person, some combination of 3 or 4 things out of my list of about 6 things has happened to them on a regular basis or more than once depending on which item is in question. this is a societal issue, not just my individual problems. look into it if you like. this place is hell on earth of youre not rich or related to someone special

My thoughts too. Texas has ridiculous property taxes.

I love my laid back,,sweet tea,,yes mam,no sir. Hey yawl"" and bless your heart state!!! The BEST state of all!!😎

Pete McCorvey thanks!
Fulton should definitely be #1.
The fact that they are all small towns explains something
He forgot Jackson

The only reason Byhalia has so much crime is because they're so close to Memphis TN.
88Gibson LesPaul well I've met plenty folks like that. Some even accused me of not being a 'true Baptist'. And yes as my username suggests I am a preacher of the 'oppressive religion' but I don't enslave anyone. I'm a slave of Jesus Christ. I respect you and whatever you believe. The blues are alright.
Mississippi = Mrs. CP
Ha! I live in Byhalia!!!! It has potential, but small town leaders won’t let it grow and they keep their foot on progress!
@@MsCharger88 sounds like my hometown. Briggs got his sources off. Other small towns surround Memphis and they're not crime ridden either.
I'm from MS, besides the bipolar weather its a great state. ❤
Great state??? 🤔🙄😶 Idk, did you accidentally put Mississippi, and meant to put Missouri or something 🤷😂 well, maybe you got lucky, and live in a really good part of Mississippi lmao
@@threekidsandcounting9477I actually live in Southaven. So dont know if its a good part, better than others I guess 👀
@OofImScott I would assume that comes from the South not necessarily MS. I dont get why people gotta be ugly towards one another.

@@threekidsandcounting9477 yeah further south is kinda shady. Southaven is closer to Memphis TN so it can be bad but I still love it.
how are you gonna talk about my state, but you can’t even pronounce it? “LEt mE tELL yOu bOuT mIsSiPi.”
my first duty station was keesler AFB located in Biloxi MS. I have left a while back but the city will always be my second home and i have visited many times. People are so friendly and i made so much friends i can call family.
I just moved to Florida from Mississippi and I miss Clarksdale MS. The ppl were more genuine.
I use to live in clarksdale back in 80’s went to hi-c and saint Elizabeth school and moved to Pensacola Florida hated it
Also from Clarksdale 😍 Living in Memphis now
From Jonestown 662
I love clarksdale
I was Jim Crowed in Clarksdale in August. And again in Larmen.
You’d think with all this shade he’s throwing, he’d at least pronounce “Mississippi” like someone who is actually literate.
He is from NC. Bottom five states in education, health, etc.
Many locals say it that way.
Katie Evans I didn't even catch it at first. Then I read your comment and I can't hear anything else now 😂
The economy is changing so fast right now All of these states will eventually be poor.
I moved out of mississippi in 2009. Everywhere I've been they they think we say it like that and are surprised when I say I don't know anyone in Mississippi that says it like that.
Bless your young little heart! This video says more about you than it does about Mississippi.
You said f**k you in a nicer way
Yep
Let me guess…..good ole dumb Mississippi humor.

@@kellyjohnson9394 yep
I live in Mississippi and yes this place is a terrible place but from my experience it's because all of the people in government are power hungry and old. They don't do anything to help the economy or people. But the biggest crime is the way you pronounce Mississippi.
Shame on the US government if what you are saying is correct…
PLEASE pronounce MISSISSIPPI the right way!!! 🤦♀️
Funny how his merch has “be nice to each other” and he’s here shittin on everyone and everywhere in Mississippi lmao
As a citizen of Mississippi, I'm suprised my lil' old town wasnt on here. But it isn't as bad as he portrays it to be. Ive been to like three of these, one of which I live near, and they aren't that bad.
@@Garrett_Jones25 I was surprised mine wasn't on there, too. 😁
I love the good things about being here, and there are a lot, but there are long list of issues to deal with, too.
There's good and bad everywhere, is basically what I'm saying.
@@kaycee6793 California shouldn't have homelessness. You guys have some of the wealthiest people in the world. What are they doing to help the situation? It seems they want to chime in on everyone else's life, politics etc..but they've no idea or have chosen to ignore it

Walnut and Tutweiler do exist. Byhalia as well. I guess I’m immune to stuff, always thought Walnut and Byhalia were nice little quiet places.
True those are communities
I live in Gulfport I like it ...you got beaches, casinos, and good seafood ,then you’re an hour and change from New Orleans, 45 minutes from Mobile, 2 hours from Pensacola Florida and 2 hours from Orange Beach ...I like it
Not that far from Destin and Panama City either.
I live in Ocean Springs & couldn’t agree with you more. The coast of Mississippi is beautiful with A/B rated public schools.
And I grew up in Wal-nut! And it’s great! Not much crime and everyone knows everyone and we all love each other!
I believe you, you look happy.
look i’m from MS we may not have the best schools or the most money but we are happy with what we have
I 100% agree with this.
Not everyone can alot of us wanna see the world more and it's alot if us poor people here who wanna make it out somewhere else big enough with many opportunities and money, especially see more people and places we ain't never heard of or seen, go to big concerts and all.
Dude. I am happy no I'm not rich. But at least we appreciate what we have
Shit I'm from up north but I went to Mississippi every summer growing up. My step father is from Edwards Mississippi. Most of his nephews & nieces that's my age today about 40 all went to college right there in Mississippi. I never looked at Mississippi as poor it was just the country to me. I been down south a whole lot even lived in Alabama for while as well.
mississippi is beautiful. i wouldn’t want to live anywhere else

As someone who has lived in Yazoo City Mississippi for the past 12 years, Mississippi isn't as bad as it seems, tons of nice folks and sure it has its ups and downs but, it's the place I love and call home🙂
I mean I'm from yazoo an it's pretty bad 😭😡
I guess your last place education system short-changed you.😂😂😂
Yeah and don't forget the witch of yazoo she burned down a lot of houses even after death💀
How is the town of Yazoo? I’m looking at property there.
Great education in....Tunica? 🤔
WHEN I SEE YOU BRIGGS, IMMA SLAP YOU SILLY BOII

There I fixed your list for you.
The county cops are crooked. The city cops are crooked.
