- I'm back with a Competitive Splatoon 3 Video! Today, I'm playing with Kyo, HXN, and a pickup to scrim in Sendou Queue. My goal here is to build my confidence playing CRB in scrims while also perfecting my spacing and positioning. Lemme know what you think!
"SendouQ is a community made matchmaking system. It features leaderboards and a season system. Everyone is free to join no matter if they are new to competitive Splatoon or a top level player. The system aims to connect people with similar skill levels with each other. It's different from what the game offers (Anarchy Battle, X Rank etc.) in that the sets are best out of 7 and you choose your teammates."

Really random but you're the reason I picked RB up, I remember watching you back in S1 when you used CRB before it became very popular, that made me want to try it but I didn't like it in S2 because of ink armor. But now that S3's come around, I've been enjoying it so much and it genuinely makes me so happy to see you play again, thank you man ❤

Thanks for posting with these thought process subtitles. Voiceovers would be even better as I find myself rewatching the past couple of seconds to see what you're pointing out in the subtitle.
Also, at 23:38, you say you shouldn't have pushed the .52 gal. I'm guessing your opinion is that engaging the gal allowed you to die to the bomb and you would have backed out earlier otherwise? But what exactly is the queue you'll use next time to realize you should back out sooner? Is it that there was too much enemy ink in front of you and that you were getting shot at by the zooka?

About 23:38, You've got it exactly right. I already was weak from the Inkzooka. Any challenge of the 52 I wouldve lost, and the bomb finished me off because I was super weak.

Do you ever just have splatoon skill issue spikes? About 2 days ago I was playing range blaster (inspired by you) and nautilus. Was acc quite good but then i suddenly just got really bad and my splat/death ratio is basically 1:3. Any tips?
not sure if this is just you being uncomfortable on s3 kraken or just a bad habit, but in your gameplay you seem to overuse the charge attack. You move faster and less predictably when just swimming normally, so maybe try using the charge less for movement and more for kills/reads.

Thats exactly what Ive learned! Had a few friends tell me this after watching lol. I also go up walls/hills too much to chase, when I should be using it to corner opponents. Definitely been getting used to it, but hoping to really polish it soon. Thank you for the helpful advice!
Not to jeopardize your career, but do you have any tips with playing against CRB? They’re legit the worse to play against!!
Getting close to them/outpainting them usually works.

Hey Penguitt! What are your thoughts on CRB compared to regular RB in splatoon 3?
I think they're entirely different identities. I think they're both very strong, but they play differently. A good blaster player can work well with both though. Might just come down to preference. Right now, I think my playstyle prefers CRB.
