I think u refferring to the bass being so loud that when it stops, everything else goes back up in volume then immediatly back down when the other bass note hits
I believe i had a limiter on master and the 808s volume up alot

Honestly i forgot i think i just used a sub bass and had a limiter on master, and when the sub bass plays it just basically makes the volume of everything else go down

Sounds like he sidechained his 808 volume to the master and turned the gain down a lot so the volumed ducks

808 on rly low volume and extreme sidechain it to the mel, idk how to explain it but over time u will find what kind of 808s work for this type of stuff
