Agreed- week in reefing is good! No need to feel you have to spend x amount of time on it as a segment though - sometimes there will be lots some less, but that’s what we’re interested in :)
Book marked this for future reference, a fantastic checklist that applies to anyone. This basically answers the ‘top 10 questions’ for reef keeprs, if that becomes a video I want credit 😉
Thank you for this content. My GSP start wilting away a few months ago. I figured a peppermint shrimp or emerald crab was feasting on it. As they are known the bug corals. Then I lost a beautiful 4 head frogspawn and a chalice coral. Turns out my mag was dangerously low after multiple tests. I've since started dosing and hoping for the best. All other parameters are "fine"
Why would you get a rid of week of reefing it’s the most relatable part of the stream. We all have our own week in reefing and most like to talk and hear about it. It is also always a good starting point for fun interesting conversations!
As for the week in reefing, why not do it but once a month or so, like a month in review kind of thing. Sometimes the week in reefing is boring but it gives us fans an insight of your personalities. For example when Ryan finally cleaned his wave-makers because we know that’s out of character for him
Strongly disagree with rodi to calibrate. I lost loads off corals doing that years ago and is a common mistake to make. You should buy a bottle off sea water cal fluid.
There's abit of controversial advice in this steam 👀 carbon dosing .......... I think you need that as a episode, I've carbon dosed for years and stay within parameters no issue, keeps my phos in check aswell
29:36 is when the coral recovery checklist starts 🙂

I'm actually thinking of turning it into some kind of 5 part video series or something...
I like the week in reefing segment personally. And if there just isn’t anything just saying nothing new. And move on. 😂
Week in reefing is my favourite part
Yes keep the week in reefing

I've had my goby a few years I think! Only place I ever saw them for sale was cellar marine.

I've found that zinc has been killing my corals lately, had to replace the wavemakers and return pump... expensive job
