Look at how she’s incorporated the Adinkra in the outer decor, that gye nyame symbol looking stylish and authentic on the wooden panels. Our brothers and sisters have style and they will bring a lot to help Africa reconnect with our indigenous aesthetics
Really nice interview Really enjoyed it very informative I'm Nigerian and happy people of the diaspora are moving back and buying property and planing on living together we make Africa great
@@rushasarehey I came across your channel. I am building 3bes in Ghana 20 minutes from white sands beach. Do you sell woods for roofing and where do you get the woods from? From your IG if possible. Thanks
I appreciate the advice (financial). Many of us have been raised to not talk about money. That "each one teach one" really is a powerful thing if we are ever to uplift our community. I am very happy for her and her family. Thank you for this video. 🥰
This interview was worth it for the Marcus tip alone! I had no idea they were at 5%. I will be opening an account with them today 😂😂😂. Also, I have land in Pram Pram and we are ready to build so will have my husband reach out for info on your company.
Very inspiring,i really need to get some land and start to build a house in Ghana, I'm same age as this lady and three years to go to retirement, but I think it's time for me to start building a house in Ghana.
@@rushasareI’m so impressed with you…anyone else would have pushed for a sale…you waited for the person to ask you for potential business…sometimes pushy sales is so off putting. You are so humble 😂.
If you are an artist you can understand what she is talking about, the moment you start painting is the time you will want to do more creative artworks. Great video, thank you for sharing.
I love the interview, the artworks and the lady but what got to me is the fact that the interviewer is leading the way ahead of Sheila to show us around. I do understand he built and support the project, it is professional move to be led by the owner regardless.
I don't think I've ever laughed during a Rush video because his subjects are so serious and the information is so important, but when he said "sailor language" I gotta admit, I laughed out loud. 🙂
Hi Rush, thanks for interviewing MS Sheila.I am proud of her wanting peace instead of Chaos in America. I am more interested in how she bought or built her beautiful house in the mountains and who to contact.🥰
I didn't quite grasp the concept around the financial saving plan.. Would really like to understand it fully. Beautiful personality n home...we should all follow suit and return to our Motherland... I personally love Ghana
I love this lady and her passion and also what is bringing to the table technology directed at empowering women of Ghana… her taste is spectacular too AKAWBA and AYEKOOO
Great insightful informative conversation and house tour Rush & Madame Sheila on her diaspora transition. Also a great was to showcase her artwork 🖼️ and other passions of bringing her Corporate Finance tech skills and experience to students and young women in Ghana 🇬🇭 This is a great example of how the diaspora come together to build Africa 🌍🫶🏾🇬🇭
She's American, not part of any diaspora. Ghanaians got to build Ghana, not anyone else. You think Nigerians are waiting on Kenyans to build Nigeria? At any rate, governments build countries, not individual immigrants.
I like your videos but can I suggest that you show us more of the properties ? The interviews are good but for visual humans like me , I want to see the whole property in the process . Thanks
As the feds here in America have raised interest rates to battle inflation there are now many banks offering high interest savings accounts of over 4.5% I discovered Goldman Sachs Marcus back in 2020 when they were paying 2% interest , as she accurately reported they are now paying 5% . Other banks paying over 4.5% interest include Discover, SoFi , and Capital One banks. There are many more !
I use Ally bank to get 5%. However these rates are only high be overall interest rates are high. As the Federal Reserve interest rates go down so will the saving account returns. So get it while you can.
Your title was African American built house in ghana. As much i was interested in this womans art work, i think you concentrated the interview too much on it and not enough on the house. I was expecting a house tour, was looking forward to it and was disappointed. The title of video was misleading.
She May Also Want To Do Her Own On Her TH-cam. I Was Wondering How Come He Didn't Show Much On Her House. It Is Her House And I Believe It Was Her Decision @leonardthomas4634
@leonardthomas4634 It was just an observation. No need to be so confrontational. If she wants to do it on her own channel, that's fine, but as I said the title is misleading and shouldn't of emphasised the house in the title if the video had nothing to do with the house. It's a comment section, so I am free to make a comment wether you like it or not and I will continue to do so at my pleasure.
That is what I also thought and came in the comments section to see if I was the only one. He also interrupted her many times, making her not finish what she was about to say. Also, the questions were long winded, he should keep it short and precise. Otherwise, it is a great content, and I will subscribe to his channel. We live and learn.
Brother, change your language, because How do you know she's n5it a Ghanaian ? Even if she or her ancestors were not from Ghana, they were definitely from this Same Continent so please she and everyone black is our brother and sister. Talk well please. Thank you
What about the people who are from Ghana and have next to nothing? Many people in Ghana don't even have food to eat much less a job. The country has gone bankrupt and people are suffering while you flaunt your expensive homes. What are you doing to help the people over there instead of helping yourselves? Since this is your "home country" I would expect you to help the ones who have next to nothing because the government over there isn't doing anything for them. Reply
Pretty mindless statement. Rush is an entrepreneur, precisely what Africa and Ghana needs millions of. People willing to take the risk to create wealth for themselves and JOBS for the poor Africans you seem to be referring to. It’s not his role or obligation to be a charity. Africa already has enough of that and charity doesn’t solve poverty, jobs do.
😍😍😍😍😍😍 That’s my mother 👸🏽👸🏽👸🏽👸🏽👸🏽 Proud of you mummy
I absolutely love the place. It looks like a home.
Look at how she’s incorporated the Adinkra in the outer decor, that gye nyame symbol looking stylish and authentic on the wooden panels. Our brothers and sisters have style and they will bring a lot to help Africa reconnect with our indigenous aesthetics
This is a wonderful mother and grandmother and everything else. From Uganda 🇺🇬, I wish her my best wishes in her retirement in Ghana ❤🎉
HER HOUSE IS GORGEOUS
We are planning our permanent move to the motherland !! I can’t wait. I know I’m not supposed to be here.
Your attire is unique and your artist works are unique too, Africa wants you not just Ghana
For sure, we like her to consider us in East Africa as well ❤😊
