It’s always when everyone and everything finally reaches that perfect rhythm that something changes! Haha how we move up I suppose but it’s sweet when you can get good relief!!
I'm with Grey Wolf we've got offices in the gulf coast mexico shreveport colorado and the main office is in houston the merger with pd went through in december but we are stacking rigs I hoping it picks back up, I'll get some more vids for sure
Love the clean floor! Very smooth movements! My other roughneck and i do connections in less than a minute tho, kinda slow. Tell ur driller to take it out of 1st gear pulling out of the mouse hole, and yeah, leave the dummy tongs on while stabbing the mouse hole
Nice job.... Wow, no coveralls.. like it! speed up yur conection..... leave dummy tongs on the kelly as you stab the rat hole pipe, use the handles on the tongs to guide the kelly into the rat hole pipe.... I was very fortunate to have roughnecked under an extrodonarly good driller... Big points on the cleanliness of the floor!
Smooth as silk men-! Nice to see floor-hands latching their tongs by themselves. Slap that iron-! I see a lot of videos where they're spraying off the kelly with fresh water making connections. Some company hands wouldn't allow it years ago. Said it diluted the brine, bringing the mud weight down if you do it every splice. Maybe they were just being jerks...?
everyone does it a little different cause on my rig we dont take the break ups off the kelly when we break it, we keep em on push the kelly to the mouse hole then slide the tongs down once its stabbed, seems like a waste of time taking them off.
canada huh we just got bought out by percision drilling its based there you know them? there use to be alot of work kinda dieing down, what about you, need a hand?

I'm just seeing this in 2020, I'm a bit late to the party. Nice connection you Cowboys! Good job! Love and respect from your northern neighbours🇨🇦🇺🇸
I don't know the first thing about drilling, but that looks like a good team right there. no wasted motion and they make a dangerous job look safe.
First time I see a rig floor with rugs on it! was expecting to see the driller sitting on an armchair dressed formally sipping his coffee

good connections boys keep it up is that a double
no, that was a triple not even sure if that rig is still punching holes or not..
Richard Humphrey
It's a single, only one joint came out of the hole.
a double with a brewster 95? that would be a little overkill on a little double
I like that the break weight had a cage to stay protected while the hands only have hard hats

Damnit boys, where is that pipe screen !!!
Clean except tossing the wrench on the floor. Could get kicked down hole or be an ankle biter! Pretty smooth tho.
Damn good hands
Dude in green tank top got whipped by the Chain and didn't even flinch.
Very cool! Much respect to all you guys! Can you point me in the right direction to get hired on?

how often to they have to do that?
That’s all they do. Repetition
vary good nice team work now do it with a spinning chain then you can call your self roughnecks right now you all are want to bees lol
Lol they treat him like Hanibal Lector.
How are they spinning the upper section on without throwing the chain? Is there some sort of top drive?
Air spinner fix in the swivel, used to ,M/U&spinning.
derrik man with a pair of good pliers😝😝😝😝😝
Called a Kelly spinner that works of air psi , you must be a mallineil roughness
its an old merco rig
Larger money economy.

AQUI EN MEXICO SOMOS MAS VERGAS LO HACEMOS Y CON LLAVES QUE NO sirven y sin desconectar con rotaria NOS LA PELAN
on that kind of rig it has to be done on every joint until total depth.. not counting trips and laying down drill pipe... Soooooo a lot!! :)
