    I really love electrical projects but can you please explain to me why mosfet just damaged when the protection diodes is connected to drain and source and the tl494 Ic I followed the directions on the diagram for half bridge inverter but the two mosfet or turning on the same time I even thought I wire the Ic up properly because the two signal or generator good I can see the dead time between the two signal one one channel scope I have but as I did I connected pin 11 12 8together pin 13 14 15 2 together 1 16 together 2.2k resistor to pin 4 7 together 1.uf capacitor 50volt to pin 5 7 and I got good 7v signal on the two 10 9 but when I connected the mosfet gate with 100 ohms resistor and 220ohms to source and gate fast switching diodes to grain and sourced with a 20v battery the mosfet is 55 v and the two mosfet get fire hot and blow I use induction and the mosfet just get hot I use 10 different Ic the same results and my friend in Asian use the same diagram and his circuit work I copy his and the same thing happens 9 Ic just get hot a stop work even before I try the circuit am not understanding why the Ic is not generated two signal in puch pull mode

    But the amplifier only work with small currents, it will not be able to do that if you have large currents so another method would be used.
