The key to sanding happiness. Use the right grit for the material and the job. Keep the paper fresh. Don't skimp on sandpaper. New paper equals many fewer strokes and much less elbow grease. Good work so far. See you on the sea.
Hi David! Thanks for watching the build! What a massive project! All the Timelapse’s make it look like a fast and easy job! 😨 happy new year to you too mate
Curious how you are going to hinge the platform in a way that it will support people standing on top. I would have expected some type of stainless structure inside the form.
Great question. The platform itself is incredibly rigid as is. There will be two anchor points on the putter corners which will be connect by dyneema to the stern. And two massive 316 ss hinges. She’ll be rock solid.
We voids like that you can drill a small hole the use a plastic syringe 💉 to fill it w resins. Looking good. Was that a mossburger 12 Guage in the shop wall?
Happy New Year! 🎆🎇 And just wanted to say! If you haven't done the job over three times (on a boat project) You haven't done it wright! Lol! Ok until next time, Aloha from the Big Island of Hawaii!🌋🍹🥂

@SailingZephyr *_ Listen 'Guys' as you always say....... This episode was "I don't have anything worthwhile to show our viewers so let's show them some bloody BORING SANDING" .... You stole 14 mins of my life so get finished with that bloody piece now!! _*
Apologies Robert. Sometimes parts of our life that we show or projects we undertake…not everyone is interested in. There has been a lot of people keen to see how this project unfolds. But I understand your feelings and not to worry the projects ends very shortly. Cheered for watching.
Keep up the awesome work! Crushing it!
Yewww. Thanks for the love.

Thanks for great tip. I think it was a pellet gun. Is that what you were wondering? Sorry as I don’t know guns. 👍
@@SailingZephyr definitely a Rodent nueterizer lol
How did you bow that platform in the shape of the rear?

Isn’t it called a “Sugar Scoop”?
The sugar scoop is the slightly hollowed out part of the stern of your boat on a sailboat that doesn’t have anything else there.
cold or hot, sanding never fun.
Nope. Not great at all
