It's a beautiful Saturday morning. The sun is shining and everyone is in a good mood. Well, almost, everyone. Oswald and Ortensia aren't doing to well. A huge argument breaks out. They had both been in worse spirits around each other for a while at this point. Oswald took notice of this and decided when his beloved wife returned home that he would make things right. Waiting long into the night, there is no sign of her returning. He begins to worry. Where could she be? He decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and wait until next morning. Just as Oswald had woken up, he heard a knock at his door. Surely it was her! He couldn't wait to see her again! That excitement however, died out very quickly. Two officers stood before him, announcing the death of Ortensia. She had been hit by a car downtown. By the time the ambulance arrived, she had already succumbed to her wounds. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. First, Mickey randomly goes missing last week, now this? And to rub salt in the wound, he had never gotten to patch things up with her. He lost everything. No one would see him for weeks. Until, the neighboring farmer decided he would check on him to see if we has alright. Surely nothing bad could happen... Right?
Good ending: Strangely, Ortensia somewhat survived the car crash and somehow, everything went back to normal. Bad ending:Oswald successfully committed suicide and things never went the same ever again...
This mod is pretty cool. One thing I always dislike about Wednesday infidelity d-side mods is how uncreative they are with the story. This one actually tries to be a bit creative.

The phases in Life on Hiatus: 1. Oswald has the same appearance that he has in Untold Loneliness, but is standing more still and doesnt have his revolver (yet..) 2. Oswald now has a revolver in his hand, which he shot himself with. His right eye is covered in blood, and his smile has become more crazy, with his gum now being visible. 3. Oswald shoots himself AGAIN. His right eye is covered in blood even more. He now has a grenade in his left hand, and also seems to be wearing a shawl around his neck. A part of his right ear is also gone now, and his left eye is starting to glow a little. 4. This is technically Waton's appearance, but he hurts Oswald so ill include it. In the last turn when Boyfriend is singing, Waton blows Oswald's grenade up. The aftermath is shown in Oswald's next phase. 5. Oswald's clothes are covered in blood now, aswell as his mouth. His right ear is even more torn now, and his left eye has a spark of some sort? 6. Oswald ditches the revolver and now holds an entire minigun. His jaw has fallen off, and his right ear is completely torn. He's barely alive at this point.
