@@bryarkelley3489 yeah, it was definitely a no-win situation. Sam felt weird fighting, Tory was all rage, Johnny was already biased and the Larusso's and Robby both thought she should wait as well. As a parent I wouldn't feel right letting my kid fight someone when their mom died 24 hours earlier. I used to take karate and I wouldn't have wanted to.
I understand both Johnny’s and Daniel’s perspective, Johnny thought it would be better to let all that anger and sadness out while Daniel saw Tory was getting violent and knew Sam could get hurt badly
Billy wasn't right lol and he definitely wasnt nuanced. if tory had lost she wouldve thought she failed her mother and if she had won she couldve hurt sam in the process and regretted it later. Daniel also lost his dad, he knew she wasn't in the right state of mind, idk why people always see things from Johnny's side only.
