No dogs sign in the city, street lamps and may other things resemble those of cats which leads me to assume this city is somewhere related to Kitty City from a different video. There’s also a billboard in the background about cows that could also be a reference to cows & cows & cows 1:06 there’s a mouse hole inside house 13 1:48 military cat 1211 was the first cat in the video to commit suicide 2:02 the band is playing inside an abandoned milk bar 2:06 the cats in this part of the video are very diverse, one of them being a Siamese cat having a completely different head shape whereas the black cat and the white cat both have less pointy ears. From this point of the video and on multiple cats starting killing themselves not because of the fact they will die anyway but because they wanted to join in on the zombie dance. Really gruesome reason to be honest. 2:23 the cats can own pets, there is a pet goldfish in the background 2:32 this video has credits, right here it says to illustration was by Sarah Brown, at 2:33 it says Animation + Music by Cyriak Harris, and at the very end of the video it repeats those credits again.
The most messed up part is deffinetly the alive cats committing suicide just to join the undead party, when i watched it as a kid i thought the gore of the zombies and civilianss were bad enough, but that took it too far

not really? if a zombie apocalypse like in the video were to happen (the dead literally rising from their graves), they wouldnt be able to move at all due to their tendons and muscles degrading, not to mention years of not moving would lead to them being incredibly weak. they wouldnt even have the strength to break their coffins. and even if they were to somehow get out, they would be relentlessly attacked and eaten by the wildlife. and even if they survived THAT, their flesh would be so dry that it would easily burn off from fire, which would immobilize them evern further

There is something about this that is genuinely terrifying. I saw this 4 years ago and found it terrifying. Still do. Don’t know why, because realistic zombies aren’t scary for me but this video is. I played it without watching and still got the feeling of a weight in my stomach.

At 6 years old I saw him and at first I said: What does he say there? I do not understand (the warning) after watching 2 minutes I removed the video and I had nightmares of a zombie apocalypse and that everyone died and other people survived like me, then my mom saw that in the history and there was a rain of blows with the flip flop
I think what’s most scary about the video is the fact we see these cute little kittens die in such gruesome ways, plus there’s suicide, the cat that sliced its own wrist open , and the cat that hung itself, plus the ones jumping off the roof because of the ghosts (and the one soldier who shot himself) is terrifying

The gruesome fact that the other cats had to resort to taking their death into their own hands because they had no hope of survival combined with the distorted music and gore/dismemberment was terrifying to me as a kid and even now this is still terrifying. Even to other people seem to think so.
Most unsettling thing is the suicides in my opinion, I too watched this as a kid, and I was fine with zombies, but enthusiastic self murder wasn't something I was used too/desensitised too. Great animation and sound work now that I look back at it as an adult, now I can appreciate in more ways than "haha funnee cat die"

When I was a kid, this kinda traumatized me but also not really. And no matter how many times I watch this now, it's still a bit unsettling even tho it isn't scary. It's more disturbing than scary. But I do love gore now, it just has this vibe that is a bit unsettling when I watch it now.

I think what’s most scary about the video is the fact we see these cute little kittens die in such gruesome ways, plus there’s suicide, the cat that sliced its own wrist open , and the cat that hung itself, plus the ones jumping off the roof because of the ghosts (and the one soldier who shot himself) is terrifying

This was traumatizing to me as a kid. The gruesome fact that the other cats had to resort to taking their death into their own hands because they had no hope of survival combined with the distorted music and gore/dismemberment was terrifying to me as a kid and even now this is still terrifying. Even to other people seem to think so.

Most unsettling thing is the suicides in my opinion, I too watched this as a kid, and I was fine with zombies, but enthusiastic self murder wasn't something I was used too/desensitised too. Great animation and sound work now that I look back at it as an adult, now I can appreciate in more ways than "haha funnee cat die"
