History of The Jungle Book (From VHS to Blu-ray) 1. The 1991 Walt Disney Classics VHS (The Colors were so closer to the Platinum Edition DVD colors. The Entire film was shown, but the Buena Vista Distribution logo got plastered with the Walt Disney Classics logo (although the logo still showed up on the Demo VHS)) 2. The 1997 Walt Disney Masterpiece Collection VHS (Though it got restored in the 30th Anniversary Edition, the film is Tinted a little blue (although the trailers showed the colors from the 1991 VHS). Also, the Buena Vista Distribution logo got plastered again, but this time with the Walt Disney Pictures logo (due to it's final theatrical re-release in 1990). However, the 1953 Buena Vista logo showed up on the 1999 DVD). I got the 1999 Limited Issue DVD [which only contains the fullscreen version I prefer]. 3. The 2007 Platinum Edition DVD (Digitally Remastered with Restored Picture and Disney Enhanced Home Theater Mix. The Good News is the old Buena Vista logo is restored (but preceeded by the short and silent Walt Disney Pictures logo). The Bad News is the film got destoyed by getting cropped to 1.75:1, which is Horrible for me, the Disney fans and the Rudyard Kipling fans.) 4. The 2014 Diamond Edition Blu-ray (The trailer shows the Fullscreen version, while the later showed the Widescreen version. For the film itself, the 2011 Disney logo was put at the end of the film (due to the point that Other pre-1967 films had the same logo at the end). However, the Digital HD version had the open matte version (but out of print when the film was put back in the Disney vault).) 5.
