Hey guys! I’m back with a new video sharing which plants I always grow in my urban balcony garden! Leave a comment down below and let me know which plant you love growing 😊🌱
WOW your growing all of those vegetables on your balcony and they look GREAT,i just started my bucket garden yesterday,im growing red bell peppers, eggplant and kale i hope it goes well,we'll see, keep up the great work 👍🏾 👏🏾 👌🏾 💪🏾... New Jersey...
If you clip the tops completely off your basil right above where you see it trying to grow two pairs of leaves lower on the stem, it will produce two new stems where you had only one.
@@MindfulLivingA You can make pesto, squeeze it out on a prchment lined baking tray, and freeze the "pucks" for winter use after the basil dies back. Basil, in my climate, bolts easily to flower so I have always had to keep clipping it back to those lower nodes.
My FAV thing to grow in my patio garden is strawberries 🍓 I've got 1 ever bearing plant that has been producing amazing berries for 3 yrs! OMGosh your garden frog, adorbs!!!🐸
Love your balcony. Similar to mine in containers and decor colours :) you should upload more! Do the leafy greens do better in partial shade and a bit protected from sun?
Thanks so much! yes I leave my leafy greens in partial shade on my balcony. They receive sunlight in the morning time followed by afternoon shade. I’ll be uploading more regularly now that my garden is up and running again for the season 😊 so stay tuned! 🌱
Honestly, it happens from time to time and I try not to worry too much about it! My balcony is on the third floor and I’ve never had any complaints from my downstairs neighbours. Try not to overwater your plants, most of time i don’t have any water draining off my balcony. If it does, it’s just water and will dry up quickly during the hotter summer months.

I’ll try that! My basil grows pretty bushy and I am constantly trimming/trying to find ways to use it all
