How to Unlock: The key of Fortuner gets two buttons, one with unlock sign and the other with lock. Press accordingly to unlock and lock the SUV when you stand outside in a particular range.
How to Start: Place the key in the starting key hole and twist it all the way through in the front direction. P.S: Keep the gearbox in park mode ‘P’.
How to Shift Gears: The automatic gear lever is marked with P-park, R-reverse N-neutral D-drive 4, 3 and L2. There are slots that will help you easily place the gears at the right position.
How to Adjust AC Temperature: To Start the A/C press the button marked with A/C, on the leftmost side of the controlling unit press the up arrow to raise the temperature and press the down arrow to lower it.
How to Use Infotainment System: Fortuner’s infotainment system is marked with the respective buttons of various functions, navigate through them to use. It could be used to connect to your phone for playing music, calling, navigating, etc.
How to Use Rear Parking Camera: Put the car in reverse gear and this will automatically turn on the camera.
How to Use 4 Wheel Drive Gear: One can slot the little lever placed before the automatic gear knob in 4 low, 4 high or very low gearing to get out of difficult off road situation.
How to use rear A/C: To direct air towards the rear of the car just push the Rear A/C button present at the bottom of the dash.
How to Fold the 3rd Row Seat: To fold them, locate a little lever present at the side bottom of the seats to drop down the back rest and then pull a little strap located at the lower side of the seat, now fold the seat sideways and put a securing strap on the rear coat hanger.
How to Pull Cup Holders Out: To pull them out just put your finger under the cup holder slot and pull it towards you.
How to Adjust ORVM: Select the side by pressing the side select button, left for left ORVM and right for right side ORVM, after this just adjust it according to your direction button.
How to Adjust Driver Seat: The electrically adjustable driver seat could be adjusted using two lever given at the lower right side of the seat. The reach could be adjusted by pushing the horizontal lever forward or backward and the inclination of the backrest could be adjusted using a small round button, push it back to incline backwards and push it forward to incline otherwise.
How to Use Wiper: Pull the stock present on the left side of steering column towards yourself and keep it pulled to make the washers work.
How to Open Bonnet: Pull the little lever present on the right side over the accelerator, marked with bonnet open sign, this will release the primary bonnet lock. Now, go outside put your fingers at the middle of the bonnet under the gap, find and push up the safety lock to fully open the bonnet. Place the securing stick at its location to hold the bonnet safely.
How to Open Petrol Lid: To open the petrol lid, pull the little lever present on the right side of bonnet open lever and the fuel fill lid will pop open.
How to Open Rear Lid: To open the rear lid, one will have to pull a lever situated under the chrome slat. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
