this guy might have a death wish.. flux-core welding??? on a motorcycle frame?! I did this job, I machined bar stock down to an interference fit for the rear end of the tubing to reinforce from inside, and center the work.. I also cut two cutoff-wheel sized pieces of tubing the same size as the Vulcan Frame. tube to make up the lost material. ThenTIG welded it together. this guy's bike is gonna fall off it's side stand eventually when those welds crack
Got a lot of balls cutting that frame. I hope you never plan on selling it, because one look at that frame and most will walk away. Tie wrapping the regulator there, I believe it's suppose to be mounted under the battery box? Don't speed in residential area...
Welding the frame like that, makes it an accident waiting to happen. You should drill at least 2 holes half an inch from the cut on each side of the frame cuts, stick a piece of tube at least 2 inches in, weld this piece through the holes, then thread the cutoff piece back on and now you could weld it, because you would have reinforced the frame tube on the inside. Like this, this is just dangerous..

Thanks man...I just fixed the drive shaft and replaced the clutch and was dreading this part.....but i think it'll be fine....thanks...
