I really hope Skipp starts or at least gets some more game time at lb. I remember it very vividly last year when it was skipp and bentacur as our only consistent players in the midfield. I think his attributes are actually very good for what Ange looks for in a full back.

Ange and the Brasil Federation have said that Richi has a calf problem for the last two days.
I would stick Kulu in the 9 and put either Sarr or Bentancur in his midfield place.
We need to get better signings and back Ange in the summer market. We're more than capable to win trophies. To all those haters say that we never win anything....hush up. We won the Audi cup in 2019 and that is just the start. We can win another trophy during preseason.

Lo Celso did very well in pre-season (general play and goals). How he seems not to be getting many games is really confusing.

Skipp has a decent few minutes now he should start, this fan base fall into the same trap all the time, whenever a player has a decent performance then he should automatically start the nexr game. If Skipp gets roasted at left back then it will be drop Skipp and play someone else there, same old crap all the time, why loan out Reguillon knowing Davies is finished and Sessegnon isn't that far behind.

@@islandlife7516 bro did u even watch the game? He did way more in 20 mins than emerson did in the whole game, and skipp even got a goal and an assist. Also, Ange's LBs play more like midfielders than fullbacks, so skipp is def LB materiel in Ange's system.
Slotting VDV in the LB position instead is a waste of his pace aswell

A pressure game now, Burnley and Sheff U both. Skippy starting LB is higher risk , a stubborn rigidity that may cause problems but hope can help create more of what is needed going forward in chance creation and spacial awareness , that Emerson failed so badly with in that position. Overall team performance must be better the GA tally makes for grim reading of a clean sheet game . Play to win and end the dry spell . CoYS!

Really putting a midfield with a right foot on at lb. rather than putting a CB with pace and a left foot there.
I respect and hear what Ange says, and as far as it goes, I agree you have to start somewhere and build from there.
The problem I have with Ange is that I cant back him just for continuities sake, because I see his foundation as flawed.
Football is played with myriad moving parts and tactics. Ange's way only covers one aspect and ignores how oppositions might respond.
As in anything you have to play to your strengths, or mould what strengths you have into a cohesive unit that everyone involved can understand. All I see with Ange's system is a charge of the 'light brigade', which unfortunately with our resources will not be improved.
We go into battle each match day with what stragglers have survived and tell them to charge again, despite what physical and mental scars they have suffered. And they know each time they are being thrown to the wolves, unless by some miracle, on this day it works.
Ange's foundations don't include all aspects of what is required to build on a sound basis for the future. Any future manager would have to start building a team with due diligence to all of its parts and their respective roles within the whole anyway.
So I don't see the point of wasting time and precious resources with continuing a process, that will demand so much, and as we have seen during the past 15 to 20 games, delivered so little.
Most of our players have got a lot of talent; They just need a good General who can see the bigger picture, to motivate them as a team to play at their best. COYS.
We did not pass to Son in last game. We were passing everything to right side. If we want to win, pass to Son and get him involved.
We couldn’t, this is a league with tactic mate, it’s not your pub langue just pass to the best player and pray. We are blocked by tight formation from teams, you will see us have more chance though the middle; opened by the right back dragging players away.

Not the formation the manager plays with 3 at the back, plus there is no left wingback with Udogie out.
Playing a formation not being played all season in an important game is SUICIDAL. Matches in reality are not video games.
