“But I feel like this one was really fucking boring. I feel like I should have known that because the heroine’s dream was to open her own salad bar.” 💀
Disagree with people’s disappointment on the Stolen Heir. I ate this book up!! I think most people came into the book wanting / expecting to see Jude & Cardan 2.0 and when it wasn’t like that, people were disappointed. However I’m happy that this book wasn’t Jude and Cardan 2.0 and if it was then it wouldn’t even make sense. Also I do think these characters had some personality and the book had some plot that even I couldn’t have predicted. I’m not saying this is the bessssssst book but I thoroughly enjoyed it and was entertained. I’m definitely reading the next book because that ending was really something.
So happy to see someone else who enjoyed if. I absolutely did. I was slumpy and not feeling most of my reads but I flew through Stolen Heir once I picked it up. I didn’t like it as much as the original trilogy but I had a great time regardless. I’m still really hoping we see Cardan and Jude in the next book (give me a glimpse at least) but this isn’t their book, so it’s completely understandable that the feel of it is different and that they weren’t in book one at all. One of the few 5 stars for me this year
I loved the Folk of the Air Series but The Stolen Heir really let me down😢. I was so sad. The story was so predictable. I literally predicted the ending at 50% of the book and all the characters felt like they had no personality. And I heard everyone raving about it and giving it 5 stars before reading it.
what’s so interesting for me is that i really didnt care for the folk of the air series, and so i ended up enjoying the stolen heir more than any of the other books lol
I LOVED Yours Truly, but was so frustrated by the 3rd act conflict😩 I feel like the opportunity to write a happy ending that shows a successful career power couple that didn’t involve kids was such a missed opportunity, especially when both characters previously mentioned they didn’t necessary want kids😔 And for the heroine to run away after the only spicy scene we spent so long building up to, UGH😩 Still loved the book though, ty for making me an Abby Jimenez convert!💖
I read a few of the Goodreads Choice Award Books. A lot of them were 5 star predictions for me. But only a few of them were actual 5 stars and if they were Nominees in the Choice Awards I honestly didn't feel like voting for most of them.
Ugh, I've loved all of Emily Henry's books and Happy Place was SUCH a bummer. I was not convinced those two should have gotten back together. They literally broke up because they couldn't talk to one another about their feelings and besides the main character giving up her lifelong dream to do POTTERY, nothing changed. Pass.
The amount of videos you’re uploading🤌🏻

Your comment about billionaires always having to spank them in the bedroom..YESSS! Couldn’t agree more!
I really enjoyed Yellowface!

Same! The others were meh, Stolen Heir was right up my alley
As a fellow fan of a self-loathing male main character, I would love a run-down of your favourites 🙏
I hope you are taking care of yourself ❤

I totally agreed about Happy Place -boring! And i did like her other books just fine this one not so much
So glad somebody else had the same thoughts I did about Infamous - it was so FRUSTRATING!
Love, Theoretically is so good. I finished it last night, and I really cried when Elsie *SPOILER ALERT!!!*** lost out on the job.
Hellbent kind of let me down. I was so close to dnfing in the middle because it was so slowwwww
I’m sorry but Miriam let Leo back in WAY TO EASILY in Play to win…
Omg please slow down!!!
Exes & Os sounds a lot like the plot of the movie What's Your Number 🤔
