Being an orphan, I never expected to make many friends, get a college education, qualify for Worlds, or win a poetry contest out of anger. My mom died soon after that contest. I won, but I think the main reason was because I was so upset with her. A few days before she passed, she stopped being a helicopter parent and caught me cooking bananas in oil. She would have yelled at me, but this time she looked at me, asked a few questions, and left. You aren't alone. I even lost my two dogs because I couldn't take care of them alone. I support people because I know what unexpected loss feels like. Still, you're going down next season. I'm going to beat you in BC! I'm more of a VGC player, but I want to hang out and see the pros at play. It won't be long until we have our legendary battle on stream. Anyway, I'm going to glaze until we meet. That's my dude; he's the absolute best. But keep in mind, I'd win ❤!

Got to play him in Dortmund, which was basically my first big tournament (with only 4 smaller locals before) and while it was wild to see someone basically switching from "hey how are you?" to full focus for the first time. He ended up giving me some more info afterwards regarding what he usually writes down etc. :D
