Hi everyone,
So, this video is really special as our search for an off beat destination led us to this hidden place "ORCHHA" In th heart of India - Madhya Pradesh.
Orchha literally means ‘hidden’ and this small village is just that secluded and still has an old age charm. The 16th century fort and the town was formed by Bundelas.
How to reach :
Jhansi is the nearest Railway station.
Private Auto Rickshaws from Janshi Railway station takes almost 250-300 INR. (we are not so good in bargaining)
Accommodation:
This small village has more hotels and restaurants than people.
We stayed at "The Orchha Resort" which cost us 2500/- INR per day for tent/Room (prices may differ from season to season).
You can also book online, rooms in Sheesh Mahal to stay more connected with Indian History.
Best time to visit:
Unless you want a good tan, we suggest you visit Orchha between the months of August to March.

Tip : Hire a guide for 300/- INR and it will be worth the money.

want to know the time required to spend to explore on each fort, palace, temple monument etc, so accordingly we can plan by avoiding unnecessary time waste also holyday of manument.

Why didn't you guys stop and visit the fort at Jhansi? Just inquisitive why people go to Orchha directly rather than spending a day in Jhansi.
we wanted to visit Jhansi on our way back but because of lack of time couldnt do so. It is in our list for sure.

How much did this trip cost you , please tell
The trip cost us around 8k for 3 days per person which included a one-day stay at a luxury hotel.. But 2 days to this place is enough and also the hotels are very cheap and nice, near this palace and temple. It's worth visiting this place 😊😊😊
