I comb my hair in the shower with a lot of conditioner and when I get out I don't comb it, I put the Moroccan Argan oil in my hair and just scrunch it up and let it dry. You might want to try that :) My hair is a little longer than yours and it works for me.
I want to come back and say that the curly/frizzy hair doesn't really look bad on you. If that had been what you wanted, I'm sure you would rock it. But it sure isn't beach waves. I hope you can get it back under your control soon.
I appreciate that & you are correct. Not what I asked for. Had I been properly informed that the bottom of my hair may not take to the process I would’ve clearly said no! I asked her if my hair was in bad shape before we started and she said no. It was a perfect storm of me asking the all the right questions for a good 15 minutes before we started and not been properly informed before making my final decision. I had my hair permed in 1989. I know nothing about it or the advancements in the process. It could’ve all been prevented.

I’ve heard that washing hair within 48 hours of perming will deactivate some of the perm and should help loosen the curls. Deep conditioning is another way to go about it too. Good luck!

Hi Faith.. The Rosemary Mint is very good for your hair. I use the shampoo and the oil for my scalp and find it really helps. As a hairdresser by trade, i would suggest cutting those ends off and you will see your hair bounce up a bit. Those ends are dead and are not going to get healthy unless you trim them off, and they will look a lot thicker too! Those crocks are adorable!! and I learned a new word.. Fiddle Fart! 😂! I love it! Love the shoes and great haul!! Don't worry about your hair! Your beautiful and you can rock anything!! Just put some product in and squeeze the hair to get some waves!!!💗💓💞

The Moroccan oil on Temu is only like $4.00. Here in the states it is much more. I tried it and it is the same darn thing! It is called "3.38oz Moroccan Argan Hair Essential Oil, Conditioning For Damaged & Dry Hair, Softens, Hydrates And Conditions Hair, Healthy Hair Penetrates Root To Tip" Seriously, it is good stuff!
Okay, the next product is great as well. The comb just slides through my hair. It is also on temu around $4.00 and it is called "Keratin Protein Hair Serum - Biotin Anti Frizz Control Hair Serum With Castor Oil" I think you will love it too! (I hope this comment goes through! Fingers crossed)
Try coconut oil for hair. Rub small amount on hands to dissolve and work into the ends of the hair nightly or every other night to minimize breaking and split ends. 😢 🙏❤ looks like they didn't know how to work with long or thin hair. Sorry this happened.
My last perm, asked for gentle curls, long hair. The girl was too busy socializing about her conquests at the bars and wouldn’t listen when I repeatedly told her my rods were falling on the floor with my hair attached. I came out in an Afro, no disrespect intended, and bawling. Went home and my aunt immediately got me into the shower and washed my hair with shampoos several times. It helped relax it enough to reach an inch or so past my shoulders.
I’d be bawling my eyes out too. That’s the last we need is being tagged for cultural appropriation. That was my first thought being on film that I was going to some heat for that.
I had that very same thing done to me when I was 15. But she didnt stop there. She started cutting the damage off when I walked out it was 2 inches all over complete frizz. And I gave her a picture. I had what was a shaggy dog style late 70's and asked for a few layers to give some more body with picture When home and sobbed for hours and would not leave the house. Haven't been to hair salon since. Even if the put a relaxer on it wouldn't of helped no hair lef
Oh, Sweetie!!! That's so upsetting!! I went through a bad cut and then a horrible highlighting for gray hair a few years ago. I posted photos on Yelp with a scathing review. I got a call from the owner. She tried to fix the coloring but mostly, I had to just grow it out. Same with the cut. Luckily, she didn't cut my length off as my hair is as long as yours. But, I did have this chunk cut out of the back. The hair products you got are good ones. I think if you do a lot of hot oil treatments it will help relax the frizz. Maybe cruising YT videos there will be some professional guidance for you to view.
There's almost nothing worse than getting a bad haircut, or like in your case, getting your hair ruined! Even with seeing you and hearing you talk about it, I can't imagine how bad you're feeling. Just don't overdo the DIY repair. Do a little bit at a time. We've all been there - especially with perms - and we somehow lived through it. I'm so sorry that it happened and I hope you can get your money back. The only thing that would be worse is cutting your finger almost off!!!! I'm really, really sorry THAT happened to you. Please take care of it and heal well.

Not at all! I’ve never had hair like this but it’s the farthest from what I asked for and what I received that really burns my biscuits! Yes I do have a spicy side but that’s how I can work hard, nearly cut off a finger and keep moving forward. 😉

Yes...get money back. Moroccan hair oil.....or argon oil will help with putting back moisture and take down frizz
