Virat choose s iyar over m Pandey for no. 4 position coz s iyar is a Delhi capitals player and kohli is a Delhi boy. What happening with m Pandey is unfair to him.

He really came up as a player for KKR under Gambhir's captaincy. Seemed a very promising prospect after his 104* in Australia, but hardly got any games after that.
The Indian management made of joke of him. Neither game him opportunities, neither dropped him. Just kept him in the squad to carry drinks and used him as a substitute for fielding.

Thats why he hasnt got opportunities now india has a formidable top5 so they will be looking to place pandey at 6 but once pandya returns they wont think that pandya can bowl 10 overs so he needs to share his overs with no7 so he might need to sit out aswell but once pandya is fit pandey might get his opportunities.

Because selection panel looks only at IPL scores.
But people don't see that for he bats so low in IPL that it's difficult to get enough balls to show his talent. Now with him batting at 3, he is suddenly coming into his groove.

What people do not realize is that Kohli is extremely political and lets be honest ,he is biased towards North Indians and Manish is as much a Kannadiga as anyone

Pandey had to endure mental health issues due to being continously on and off the playing 11, all credit to Kohli Shastri duo.
