I was brought here by the Celebrate the Future 2000 ad from the Tarzan VHS! Another beautiful song that expresses a message of hope that the world needs now.
Then do you probably think "Imagine" by John Lennon being performed at Times Square before the Ball Drop on New Year's Eve every year should be switched to this song instead?
And now as we have gathered as one family here on this planet earth, to celebrate Disney’s 100 years, let us all renew our sense of wonders. Here at the most magical place on earth, let us join our spirit, the young and the young at heart alike to sing to celebrate the magic. The fantasy and adventures that lie ahead of us and the simple that there's nothing we can't accomplish hand in hand. Because: Disney Is Us You Make this dream come true! And here's to the next centuries of wonder.
I have a hunch that the 'Remember the Magic' Parade theme was produced by Jam Productions in Dallas. Those guys produced perhaps the most memorable and joyful Disney World song. Fantastic stuff!
I was 7 when this came out!! Love ittt I also got to experience the magic of Disney Land at this time of year when i was 8 years old, never will forget that part of my childhood!
If I wanted to celebrate the century so badly then I definitely need this theme for Disney 100th anniversary! 2023 is year's so big that wanted to reach the future!
@WinterInJapan Don't say that, you don't feel old. Age doesn't matter, what matters is your life, your childhood memories, everything that you've missed when you were little. Those precious moments are stored in your heart, waiting to be opened for you. Disney is the place to let your memories opened from your heart. :)
great song! I love Disney and their amazingly awesome songs and parades! Disney has the ability to change peoples relationships with others. Its the only place my family can get along with each other for an entire day without getting into some sort of fight! Truly a magical place! Greatest place on Earth!
got the original millenium celebration cd as a gift in 2000 . Back three weeks from disney where i asked about trying to get a new one but told that it was impossible . My old version only comes out to make a new copy , if anyone wants one would gladly spead the magic if i only knew of a way to send it without asking for addresses
They should make a theatrical Disneyland movie that uses the Roger Rabbit technique of combining live action and 2D/3D animated characters from Disney, Pixar, and Marvel Studios. The live actors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and "Star Wars" films could reprise their roles. I don't have much of an idea for a story, but then again, Jon Favreau has also expressed interest in making a movie like this under the title "Magic Kingdom". My point is, they should include this song.
well let me tell you a funny story, im from mexico and was born in 1993. I remember watching the millenium celebration ads on VHS from disney movies. 22 years later I was able to get a job in EPCOT, and I remembered how the tiny me wanted to be here and those ads. Also I was able to get the millenium celebration pin on one of my pin hunting travels across the resorts.
I was only 3 years old when 9/11 happened and I remember everything. I want the world to be perfect but it can't happen. :( I hope one day we can have peace in this world and never have to worry about anything.
I was 8 1/2 or so (8 in February) when 9/11 happened 16 years ago. Two years later, I wanted to fly to Iraq in an army to put an end to their threats. But a life in the battlefield is not what I want after all in any war. Don't we all want to live in a world where everyone is kind and no depressing reports on our local news?

I was born in February of 1993
Brings back memories from when I first moved to Orlando. I'm still an annual passholder and use it all the time. Thanks for posting!
My family and I bought this cassette when we were in Disney around 1999 or 2000, and used to listen to it all the time. It brought us so much joy! =)
