- We're entering another NLBC post-patch! Ken was already one of my favorites in Street Fighter V, so when I saw his buffs I was pretty excited to see how he changed. But after this tournament, maybe these changes weren't all that special?

Just started watching your videos recently. Thanks for covering the buffs. I'm a new Street Fighter V player and I've been able to pick up all the new moves that you've shown. All of the combo videos from other people seem out of date with the updates that came out since they posted those videos.
Welcome! SFV is an excellent fighting game, very tough competitively but with patience and practice you'll get really good.

He also has the best whiff punish in the game. His hp dp has about the same range as his vt2 only he can use it whenever he wants.

Half the roster throws fireballs so with these last two updates opponents have to be even more careful or... they basically lose just from one or two bad fireballs 🔥👏

You should look into some of the things you can do with the new fireball VS1 cancel when in VT1. There's some sick mix up, and pressure options, and helps with zoners.

Do you find pad more fun punk or you just grew up on it, that's why you use it? I wasn't into fighting game but I bought a stick and hitbox and now I'm obsessed, just curious!
i used both stick and pad and tbh not much different, not either 1 of the controls hold u back its just what ur experienced with or what u spended ur most time with, i will say it is easier to dash on pad thats all

Probably just grew up playing pad. Most people stick to what they first started using since they probably been using it for years. Kinda like most Japanese players grew up playing in arcades, so stick is most natural for them. That was the case for me at least, so I could be wrong.

@@russhl125 spooky stopped doing nlbc after backlash that one of the TO mods was treating people like shit and because they were excluding players from texas while allowing 2 others to particupate, the tldr is spooky had enough shit and was already burning out so he stopped

@@suffix_ssbm Ken would get molly whopped by more than half the cast. Guile, Urien, Karin, Cody, Akuma, Dhalsim, Sakura.
The best matchups he has is around a 5:5 or 6:4 matchup. That's very middle ground or low middle tier. Even Ken going against trash Juri is whatever.
Ken was bottom tier season 2 and 3. Now he’s somewhere around upper-mid
