I just got one of these thanks to a friend and even though there are Kids on the box, adults take this so seriously and I can see why, it's a tone of fun. While I don't have anyone to play with right now, I'm having fun doing passing and shooting practice

I’m an only child so growing up whenever my dad wasn’t available I would play by myself and practice like you are. I hope you find somebody who also likes to play and can then enjoy it to its fullest!
@@stanmarsh912 I only have NHL22 on Xbox Series X. I do get to play Table Hockey whenever my Girlfriend comes over, but because she lives an hour away and we both have our own lives, that isn't very often. I did play it at a friends house when he was having a party, and they credited me with livening up the party since EVERYONE wanted to play Table Hockey!

Yeah, it’s an amazing game! Not sure why the puck is so big, but any table top hockey game I’ve ever had, the puck is always oversized. Not sure if it’s to make scoring a bit harder, or to help them not get lost . . .
This type of game looks like a Great Way to Develop Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. I remember playing one of these table-top Hockey games back in 1987, at 17. I remember that i was naturally pretty good at it, but after awhile It started activating things in my brain, so I started ticking. Lost focus, and then my friend immediately scored a goal, and I got ticked at him Celebrating, because I felt that he only scored the goal because I started ticking, and thus lost my train of focus. I don't remember playing that type of game anymore after that. That lil recollection memory remains though, and I Do Enjoy to watch others play this Fun and Funny looking Hockey game. I just wasn't quite meant for it though. I Did Do better at Air-Hockey. I don't remember ever losing focus while playing that, except for when I somehow had the puck hit my finger. That Really Stung. Mario Lamiuex Hockey 🏒 for Sega Genesis was a Nice video-game.
I got it at Canadian Tire last summer . . . and it was on sale! If I remember correctly it was between Canadian Tire and Mastermind Toys for the two spots that seemed to regularly carry this set. So much fun!
To be honest, I have no idea. I didn’t even know there were different versions. I just picked this one up around a year ago, because it’s been along time since I had one, and we absolutely love it!

@@darthcobain1726 Yeah. The playoff one has all international teams. Personally I prefer all lefties, but the graphics on the ice takes some getting used to. :)
If you want the puck to go faster, use a thin layer of silicon spray on either the puck, ice or both. But not too much or it will get sticky instead. Once you applied the silicon, use a dry paper or cloth to polish from time to time. No need to apply more silicon to puck and ice after that, just polish. But the rods needs more silicon and more often, it makes a huge improvement to the puck handling. Just be careful not to get it inside the rubber handles or they will risk slipping while playing. That problem can be solved by taking the handle off, tape the end of the rod and put the handle back so the tape inside makes it a tighter fit.
I play on the Tudor NHLPA game from 1967. Much bigger ice which leads to higher skill level. I never liked these smaller ice, plastic player games very much.
I had this as a kid. My favourite toy! Soooo many hours playing against my brother.

I believe that the table looks a little different, but plays the same, and on the playoff one all the players are left handed.

No, this was straight out of the box, nothing added. Wonder if you could try a different puck or something?

It is pretty sturdy, actually. It’s well made, I’m surprised how well it’s held up, because we have played a ton of games on it . . . 🤪
