  • Riding south bound on the American River Bike Trail, crossing the American River over the Guy West
Bridge onto the Sacramento State campus. West on J Street then onto the M St. Bike Route through the Fab Forties Neighborhood to Alhambra Blvd. Turning west on L St, under the Business 80 Freeway, past Sutter Hospital and Sutter Fort to 26th and L Streets. This used to be my go to route to travel from the Arden Arcade area toward downtown, I don't use it as much anymore. I've found that using H Street or Elvas Ave. (both featured on this channel)are quicker. Although the M Street Bike Route travels through a residential area and has light traffic the north/ south cross traffic slows you down. Especially during the evening commute when people blast through driving between Folsom Blvd. and J Street.

It was a beautiful day in Sacramento or you have a great camera. I like the way you had the camera usally it's from the front. I've rode that way so many times I knew when and where you were going to turn. It was a great bike ride and video, but I had to turnoff the music and enjoy the ride. Hope to get back home soon.

Thanks for the comment! It was a great day, last Friday afternoon. The Camera is a Akaso Brave 4 Pro, not real expensive but does a pretty good job. My other go to camera, usually mounted forward is a Akaso EK7000. I posted several of these rear mounted videos hopefully to give riders a better perspective of traffic conditions. I have met many new/potential riders that are more concerned about traffic coming up from behind rather than the traffic they see, I hope this helps. The continuation of this video, to the Sacramento Valley Station should be up tonight or tomorrow morning.
