    I'm a believer. This is an important video. Thanks so much.
    In just a few weeks to months on whole food-plant based, I lowered my LDL cholesterol from 120 mg/dl (elevated risk of heart attack), to 65 (virtually no risk / around ideal level). Blood pressure is normal now at 120/80 and off blood pressure medication where before meds it was like 160/100. Fixed a major resting heart rate problem, lost huge weight, feel generally better although I still do have massive depressive disorder. Waist is good.
    My problem is slight weight gain now, but my net weight change is a loss of 40-45 lb. The max loss was 55 lb. I eat whole wheat pasta with beans quite a bit now, black beans in a can and I try to eat without salt. Sometimes not available at the store. I eat this primary meal twice a day and I include non-starchy vegetables and small amount of nuts daily, carefully measured.

    I cured my IBS and lost weight with a mostly whole-food vegan diet, for sure. My dad’s cholesterol levels dropped dramatically with me cooking for him most of the time (and giving him plant-based meals). Some of my conditions haven’t responded, such as my Interstitial Cystitis and Fibromyalgia, but it absolutely cures some conditions without breaking a sweat!

      Look into Dr. Goldner, shes the last doctor who spoke. She has a lot of videos here on youtube. I do her smoothies and added more raw vegetables to my diet. She explains that many WFPB vegans are still sick because they eat only cooked food and not enough raw veg, cruciferous veggies, greens, omega 3s from flax and chia seeds or enough water and sleep. Its true in my case. Going plant based was easy by seeking warm and filling comfort food in the form of rice and beans lentils potatoes and whole grains. All that stuff is good and fully WFPB however when we cook our food it looses nutrients and we get a lower dose of the goodness, partial benefit. I realized I was eating nothing raw except occasional side salad and some fruit for dessert. I also reduced fats but we need the good fats from omega 3s from nuts and seeds and whole olives and whole avocadoes instead of their oils. Some vegans go too extreme w the low fat but processed oil is the culprit not whole food fats. She also talks about 96oz up to a gallon of water a day and getting enough sleep. I also was not previously doing that. I have no idea how ur eating of course but its worth looking into improving ur vegan diet in the hopes that it can better ur health. Ive only been doing Dr. Goldners tips for a month and my issues have gotten better. Look her up, you'll learn so much 😉

Notice how what he says has a biblical quality to it: not just heart disease and diabetes but saved from having his leg amputated. Goldner is in the same vein. I would like to see her document the "100's" of such cases such as a man who's rash was completely healed and he went on to become highly successful etc..

Also cured kidney disease that had me a hair away from the transplant list. My kidney function is now normal for my age (68). • @sudd3660
      @sudd3660 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      killing should not be an option, you know we made it so "overpopulation" happened right? its humans that overpopulated not animals. its barely enough of them left.

    • @mushypotatoes5906
      @mushypotatoes5906 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@sudd3660 well to play the devil's advocate, if we simply allowed deer population to go on unchecked then there would absolutely be an overpopulation of deer by anyone's standards. The the environmental and ecological shockwaves we would reap would be very large and cause more death overall then limiting their population as an interim predator. I am absolutely aware that human intervention has caused the issue but at this point it's basically deal with the hand we're dealt. Unlike the meat industry we can't just scale down artificial insemination as demand decreases, for deer the less demand the greater the supply and eventually they would overgraze and all starve as shown in studies prior

No dairy or eggs but meat was hard to let go for awhile. Its not extreme and does not necessarily need to be overnight but it's not as hard as ppl make it out to be. As long as I have my rice with beans sweet potatoes and greens I am a happy vegan 😂 and yes it was period pains that got me running to plant based. When i became vegan for ethical reasons nearly 11 yrs ago, little did i know how much it would change my life. The quality of my health changed in lots of ways. A WFPB diet is by far the best. The Asthma, IBS and poor immune system i`d had for many years went away within weeks of changing my diet and have stayed away. Our reward for doing the right and sensible thing is having the best health possible which no amount of money could ever buy. The Arthritis i was having prior to going vegan at the age of 57 has very much improved and i get very mild aches occasionally now. Living a WFPBD is by far the healthiest way to live. My immune system has become much much stronger and i hardly ever feel or get ill. When we know better we can get better and feel better.

    I had been urging him to try wfpb but he kept on giving excuses like it’s too hard to totally eliminate meat. But after what the doctor said to him, he said he is willing to try it in the new year. I am so excited to see him get healthier!

    I have been thinking of either a pure vegan or carnivore diet - both seem to be getting some good results. My only concern with a vegan diet is ending up eating empty calories such as rice and lack of protein. Considering both diets sit at either end of the spectrum, and there seems to be positive benefits associated with both, I do wonder that omitting ultra processed foods is what gives the health benefits.

    I am the only Vegan in our home. My partners mother, her daughter and my partner eat meat and small amount of veg. The mother and her daughter are always taunting me about eating their food that has meat and making fun of me. The daughter when she sees chickens or farm animals on tv, always says "that will look good in a pan for dinner". It makes me ill and sad. All they think and talk about eating meat. They are in their 60 and 94, so you cannot open them up to the idea of being vegan. They always tell me, "how can you eat that junk" when dealing with my vegan lifestyle. I am alone to a point because my partner does support me but will not try to look into vegan food. They are all sick and very heavy due to the type of diet they have. I am lost.

      I think by saying "plant based" they are referring strictly to a vegan diet but without having to necessarily conflate it with veganism, which is an ethical stance rather than just a diet. In simple terms, most of these patients probably weren't vegan in any other way - e.g. they wore leather and wool, used cosmetics that contained animal products and were tested on animals etc.

    The key is in the W. The letters WPBF symbolize the plant based diet, W plant based foods. But white bread and jam, chips and cola and many more are plant foods. The W stands for Whole plants. If you want to make this plant thing work, only whole unprocessed plants will give you results. No flour products, no oil, no sugar. Whole grain intact, like wheat berries. Whole oats, like not rolled or sliced or steel cut. Whole fruit, not banana chips (did you know those are deep fried?). Whole grapes, not raisins. Air fryer potato slices, not fried. Dark leafy greens and citrus are good calcium sources. Many plant based milks have calcium in it. Well need less calcium too because wnt b leaching it from the bones to lower inflammation caused by too much dairy and meat. But we need to make sure its a whole foods vegan food not vegan junk food because we all need to get our nutrients by a good amount of plant food. Even meat eaters can have deficiencies if eat too much nutrient deficient junk food and no vegetables, fruits, legumes and whole grains. I have learned that there is no point in having enough protein and calcium if deficient in all the other vitamins and minerals that most are deficient in. Thats what causes disease, our bodies dnt have the tools to fix regular damage or damage from bad foods and habits. When we nourish ourselves our bodies heal themselves. 😉

All I know is that a Paleo way if thinking made my hormones worse and now I am trying to heal from it. WFPB is new to me but I am healing. I dnt know ur health but my aunt has inflammation in the bowel. Because she has inflammacion she needs steroids. Something is leching calcium from her bones and she now has osteoposoris and elevated calcium in the blood, we think the steroids or just the fact that her body is pulling the calcium because calcium is how the body handles inflammation. Its all a downspiral effect. If the inflation in her bowles had been corrected another way before all the medical interventions mayb she wouldnt have the other issues. A WFPB especially high in omega 3s reduces inflammation. I just try to follow the nutritional science. I listed to doctors researchers n ppl who have credibility. A whole foods diet (with or without properly sourced meat/dairy/eggs) will yield these results fairly quickly. It's the removal of sugar, processed carbs, fried food, and soy/grain fed meat/products in general that account for these results. This is a no-brainer. Although to date, I have yet to see any evidence that plants alone provide sufficient nutrients without supplementation. Then there's lectins, nightshades, grains (used to fatten animals, and guess what... we're animals!), and selective breeding of fruits & vegetables to the point where they barely resemble their ancestors from 100 years ago. Most vegans still have inflammation and acquire chronic & auto-immune diseases. It just happens more slowly and gets attributed to genes vs the real culprit - a non-optimal human diet. And finally the number of animal deaths caused by vegans far outweighs that of a carnivore diet. I might eat 1 cow, 1 pig, and a few chicken & fish in a year. Pesticides, land consumption, and the harvesting process are genocidal by comparison, and where do you think fertilizer and soil nutrients come from?
    But hey, go ahead and try to maintain a diet invented by a crazy woman around 1850 after having "talked to god".
