Hi, my case mger doesn't understand my GAF score is 30-65 ranging per SSI disability. Case mgmt sends me to legal aid, then to the bar association over a landlord evicting me in 11 months lease.
Case mgmt said to drive when I'm low on funds for gas. I'm just tired to trying to get to the first, not having food, waiting for the 10th on snap card. Then waiting to the first for another stipend. The mental gymnastics is discouraging. I've tried grant writing to change my life.
Case Mgmt may not be on my side is my outcome. They find me annoying and I fear. I'm discouraged. Not looking forward to July.
Case mgmt is too young. they don't understand the issues they speak of are for pple that have support systems so basic needs are met. I don't have a support system. I rely on my care team and I'm concerned they are fed up with me.
I asked for a food and hygiene box and it's "drive here, drive there" I ration gas. I'm late on car insurance. I told her my budget and it's so lost in translation. I needed a case manager who is older and more aware of life being unhappy and it's just moroseness.
I sought storage on my own, bought storage over a Landlord. Bought more stuff over a landlord. Case mgmt, LL, care team are works in progress. Food insecurity, grief, chronic pain, case mgmt doesn't see the physical therapy maintains my health. They don't see I'm simple. I want my art and care plan. The family is deceased. That era is over. The mental space that case mgmt does or wants is depressing and a let down. They could help more but they refuse to. They push too much do this, do that, but the red tape is not good for my meds. Meaning case mgmt is unhelpful to my care plan. They don't care.
I feel let down and depleted from the 15 years of trying at any of this. Working with the public is thankless and the burnout is high. 15 years of mental health care over five years in Ohio eight in WV and I'm the failure to thrive diagnosis case.
