What he is saying is very true. The first time I was traveling I used Egyptair. Their reps at the airport told me my visa was illegal so they won't allow me to board so I should give them something . I was scared but was sure my visa was correct because it was coming from my dad and not a connection man . They ended up deficient me and taking money from me. This was somewhere in 2009 . Later I realized it was because my passport was virgin so they could scam me . When I wanted them to speak with my dad they declined. Later I told my brother who was coming the following month to be vigilant and not to allow them to scam them . Today no body can intimidate me at the airport both departure and arrival .
Those are profilers, Seriously some of the people sharing their experiences should be able to speak up for themselves at the airport.You knew you did everything right and by the book.There won’t be a need to pay anything to anyone.i think they know whom to approach with these formats.sometimes i listen to people and i’m wondering how.I wish i could share my experience with Danish Police at Denmark Border.

These things normally happens to first time travelers who look gullible. If u are a literate and even a first timer, they can’t do this to u
Trust me, they are not jealous. They are just taking advantage of the vulnerable. Do you know how much they make taking those monies?
Alot has been happening, someone did the same to my wife when she was going to Ethiopia for visit. The guy try to delay her, they mostly try to do this when they see that u are new traveller. But my wife told him that she is in her country and don't care but the other one going to Dubai first time paid and he allowed them. But i have not seen such things before. But boss no one will delay me kwa as u said. That person will pay.
What is the way forward with this “abayiesem” at the airport….?
