    I'm surprised that there are actually changes this year, usually sports games have very few meaningful changes year-over-year. Does this mean you're going to start a new PCM series?

    • @KillrobPlays
      @KillrobPlays  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It sure means me making a new series is way more likely! :D

    Dear Killrob :)
    Thanks for all your videos :)
    I have a problem with my Pro rider.
    I Can not even do a small spriner stage without getting tired and almost retire ??
    I am on my 4 season, and i am not getting any better..
    What have i done wrong ?
    Cheers from Denmark

      Hey Daniel! That does sound odd. What level is your rider on at the moment, and what are some of his key stats, like flat, hill, and stamina for a sprinter?
      Are you staying inside the peloton for the duration of the stage as you should using the hold position command?

    • @danielcramerlhde2015

      Hey Killrob...
      At season 5 my rider is a level 17.
      I think i found out that the problem was that, my stamina was not high enough, because it is getting better :)
      Thanks from the reply

    Thank you for going deep into the Pro Cyclist system. I do like the new system. Even if it can definitely still be improved it seems to be in a good place.
    I second the manual rest days allocation. But need the AI to be able to do the same. Otherwise, the second half of the season becomes too easy for us as players.
    I hope your sponsor opened their pockets massively for this one 😅

    • @KillrobPlays
      @KillrobPlays  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you! Good point about the AI needing to be smart enough to then also use rest days. Wouldn't be the first time the AI sucks at fitness management haha.
      I believe the way to cheese the system is to place any fitness peak at the end of your target and then build up with the "Course" slotted item to get to 100% and stay there for 3-4 weeks if needed. Important is that you jump from 90 to 100 quick to not accumulate tiredness beforehand... that I believe is the exploit in this year's version :P
      Wouldn't that be great, if you could sponsor yourself and actually make money off of that xD
      Cheers mate!

      @@KillrobPlays The combination of the "Course" thingy + manual rest weeks + a smart AI in managing all of this would be very good and a nice step forward.
      Not gonna lie, seeing your ad made me reinstall The Cyclist: Tactics this afternoon and play a bit. I enjoyed it more than I remembered I did 😃

    • @KillrobPlays

      I just played the first 3 months of a Pro Cyclist career and my fitness management using some of the course items in my training gave me a 4 weeks long fitness peak at 100%. That then ends as you hit your actual designated fitness peak, which lowers your fitness percentage. Somehow I think that is not quite what they intended haha, but maaaaybe this is an older version they gave us with the system not fully implemented / balanced yet :) I certainly hope so!
      Manual rest days either via the slotting mechanic or by manually being able to place rest weeks would be great. One potential downside would be that you then (again!) would be able to completely circumnavigate the system by just doing your training fully manually by just having everything green and then on demand pushing up your fitness with course items or adding rest days. I don't think that would be too bad as long as the AI using the actual system doesn't suck at it.. like you said. :D
      Ahh cool, great to hear you gave TCT another go. It has matured a fair amount since you first played it for sure. Let me know if that holds up :)
      Cheers!

      @@KillrobPlays I'll have to watch some of your videos because what I struggle the most with is understanding the importance of the positioning in the peloton/groups. (I didn't redo the tutorials this time and maybe everything I need to know is actually there).

    • @KillrobPlays
      @KillrobPlays  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's stuff that isn't directly obvious, so yeah, it certainly is good to know. The tutorials only cover the basics of that, but there are important nuances that are very easy to miss. Let me know if you'd be up for a quick coaching session in that regard so I can help you out. Cheers!

    McSpeck and his boost bar are returning?

      This does look like it has more things changed at least to make it interesting enough to delve into again :) maybe Dicky could make a return, yeah.

    Thank you for the insight! And what about the normal career mode? Are the fitness peaks still there? Or we finally got rid of those on every single gamemode haha

    • @KillrobPlays
      @KillrobPlays  ปีที่แล้ว

      I actually don't know :D need to check that out myself. I thought the more career-focused youtubers would have a word on that, but so far I've not heard anything about that specifically.

      @@KillrobPlays Thank you, let's hope we don't have the fitness peaks anymore and the form becomes just fitness based instead of random haha

  • @charlesleeray1784

    There doesn't seem to be a bonus +2 RDC bonus anymore (no preparation bonus only objective bonus), so I'm only getting a maximum of +1 expected RDC. I've just started and have yet to hit 100% fitness on my rider though.

    • @KillrobPlays
      @KillrobPlays  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can use the race prep weekly training thing slotted in during your preparation and you'll be shooting up to 100% pretty quick :)

    • @charlesleeray1784
      @charlesleeray1784 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@KillrobPlays a little update. So I managed to have 100% fitness during target A using the prep boost but still no additional bonus in expected RDC. I think they removed the +2 bonus if you're supposed to be at your fitness peak.

    thanks for the video. i understood some stuff now. I rly dont like this quests and lvl up stuff in a cycling manager game. I think skills should improve by training alone.

    • @KillrobPlays
      @KillrobPlays  ปีที่แล้ว

      The level ups are linked to what you're training now :) the % advancement in the different categories does equate the level up strength in that category. Cheers!
