    EMX is my largest personal holding and I bought my core position in this company in 2014-2015 and the hardest thing to do for 5-6 years has been getting a timeline from them. I'm sure 5 years from now and 10 years from now this company will be worth much more than it is now, but it is difficult putting an NPV on a company when you can't get a timeline for these catalysts or royalty streams coming online. I don't want to be the guy complaining about being up 4-5x over 5-6 years, but I passed up more lucrative investments in that timeframe to hold onto EMX thinking some of these catalysts were more imminent than they turned out to be. Would love the next interview to press harder for real material timelines.

      I feel the same way I’m looking for some timelines.

    David Cole and EMX, nice work! They truly are a unique company and my largest holding. Dave Cole just oozes integrity and professionalism, love the CEO and company. Thanks so much for posting!

    Another smart interview. I also like this company. Perhaps the safest way to invest in precious metals.
    Greetings to Isabel who does a great job to represent EMX In Europe.

    Wow now that is a ceo I can trust a real shame I didn't know about this company before. A really good interview and ceo was able to articulate his strategy and how he will increase shareholder value. Really good interview!

    Excellent interview. I only learned of this company about a week ago and was happy to open a small position. I’ll add much more after the major market pullback.

    The interview gave some indication of huge complexity of the business, at least in my view. I don't envy David Cole's task in managing such an entity. Can outsiders get any grip of what is really involved? Not sure they can, frankly
    Thanks for interview

    One additional comment. Golden Valley Mines is a company you should not forget. They have a slightly different business model but also did a good job the last years. Glenn Mullen is the CEO. If I have the choice and am only allowed to elect two of them EMX and Golden Valley Mines are my favorites in this space, concerning value, safety and growth. Would appreciate to get a comment on this assumption.

    I watched another Royalty company and the CEO says they'll do all deals that make money. Kinda. I like EMX laser focused approach.

    In the 1st few minutes David says "We convert prospective geologic ideas into Royalties ... We do that by execution of the Royalty Generation Business model." What the heck does that mean?? -- It's very complex and hard to understand terminology. And it continues to be through a whole lot of this discussion. Thank you Matthew for continuing to dig and dig in order to try to help us all understand it. David, you've been steeped in the workings of the "Royalty Generation Model" for years and years. Please, for people new to these concepts, please really really try to tone it down a bit. Please, just pretend you're speaking to a bunch of children. We all want to understand EMX. Next time let your audience get there quickly ... rather than in such an arduous manner.

    Obviously this is an undervalued operation but does anyone have insight as to when it might be on the road to appropriate evaluation? And what do you think a appropriate evaluation might be? I am thinking in the current environment about $6

    Did anyone catch the website David mentions (when talking about his trades/buying of EMX stock) at the end? cdi.com? seedye.com? Tried a bunch of combinations myself, but no luck.

      Go to www.canadianinsider.com and type in EMX, it's so much easier. You'll see a tab that says 'insider filings' and you can choose by date or each individual insider, like David Cole. You'll see all of his stock purchases, he bought a lot of stock last year and this year. God bless!

    If the inflection point is 2022 - 2023 and other "experts" are predicting about a 2 year run of the precious metal trade with a possible bubble burst, will EMX make it into a top tier royalty company?

    • @theciakilledjfk5973
      @theciakilledjfk5973 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's my understanding that precious metals comprise less than half of the business. Moreover, the gold bull market has been going for over a hundred years. Bubbles burst, there's a retracement and then Gold goes higher.
