I had an '83 FXR. Bad tappet guide from factory. The tappet guide had a hole drilled through both tappets and the hole through the tappet body was supposed to be welded to keep the oild from flowing out of the tappet body before it fed the two hydraulic tappets. It would always bleed down and start tapping because the end of that oil feed hole wasn't sealed with weld. Thanks Harley. I had to find that. My dealer said, They All Do That.

Geez the old iron head is not looking good. Needs a bit of work. Wow chopper rod has some serious hair going on there. I like his other bike he started up. Very cool bike. Bummer about the camera.
