Lure caught 28lbs 12 oz , you may not remember all the pike you have caught over the years but you will remember the big ones you lost ! I'm currently on a work trip in a northern state so I had never fished for pike until this trip. So far my PB is an 11 pounder that I pulled with #1 Mepps spinner that I was trying to catch trout on
1985 --43in and 17 1/2 pounds--I was never able to match that fish, a few dozen over 10 pounds but nothing over 15. I peaked early. Maybe I should retire. Do old men fish?
