Do not feel bad. I often confuse annoyed Eastern Grey Squirrel calls for some type of bird (probably a Northern Mockingbird).

When I was deciding to move I narrowed it down to two places. Both were very nice but I couldn't make up my mind. The deciding factor: the real estate agent accidentally mentioned one had a family of chipmunks. She thought I wouldn't want it. ARE YOU KIDDING?! I bought the place immediately! I've never been happier!

I live in the country and there's nothing I'd like more than befriending a chipmunk or squirrel. I keep trying though. I have peanuts for them and they eat it closely but not from me yet
@@kellylott9296 Don’t give up and be persistent! Go out at the same time every day to present food and they will know and associate you with food. Pretty soon, you’ll get them to feed in your hand. I got two to feed from my hand in a week! They also love deer corn as well 😅
Bravo! 👏👏 No encore? No! They know how to leave the Audience wanting more! I'm sure the tickets for the next Performance will cost 20 Sunflower Seeds! Well worth it! It takes proper nutrition to maintain that lovely Coat 😁.

I have a chipmunk that comes to see me every morning. I was giving him some peanuts today and i found this video and played it while he was here. Whatever the guy in the video is saying, well, he made my chipmunk stop dead in his tracks. He sat and listened to the whole video. As soon as it was over he went back to stuffing his cheeks.
Probably a chipmunk version of a classic song or greatest hit! BB

I would hear a chirping at times in my neighborhood from inside the house. This didn't realize it was chipmunks until I saw a viral chipmunk video. Then I saw one chirping as I got out of my car on my front yard. It was chirping to warn all the others to run to their holes. My neighborhood chipmunks are insanely afraid of humans unfortunately.
They're just furry birds without wings.

My dog loves to watch a chimpmunk that runs around outside my bedroom window. I started playing this audio with my window opened and the chimpmunk came out of its hiding hole to listen. My dog was able to stare at the chipmunk which made him happy 🙂

I thought they were having a conversation. And when the other one ceased to reply, this guy got anxious and more anxious, and that's why his performance builds.
We never had Chipmunks in our yard in Santa Barbara until three years ago. The other day I counted EIGHT at one time. People say they're "bad," but I certainly prefer them to Squirrels. And this chipping sound? I've heard one sit and chip for 20 minutes straight. What's the deal? They are shy creatures, and when I go outside to ask, "What's up?" the main chipper will go silent and remain silent.

Love chipmunks but their too brave for there own good when all critters hide from danger they don’t hawks n cats always go for them
But chipmunks are FAST! My cat caught one once, and she was so surprised (judging from her expression) that she let it go right away LOL. And once a hawk slammed into my car hood (it was only stunned for a minute) - i think it was going for a chipmunk, and needed to concentrate so fully that it never saw me until BONK!
