Commando,, being born in 51, and all I lived for as a kid was a motorcycle, had a brand new 70 red roadster & two second hand, all 750, have ridden many friends 850 but never owned one, in the sixties I had Triumph & BSA, they were lots of fun but the first time I rode a Commando it was like getting out of a Morris then into a Corvette, I don't miss the maintenance they needed to keep them running sweet but being young I learnt a lot about tuning & oil leaks, when everything was right they were fast, I never lost a race with a Honda 750, Kawasaki 900 were a match at the lights but not on bendy roads, I could go on about my youth but nobody would be interested..
Ja, das hat was, und dazu der gute sound. Das alte Eisen begeistert immer noch. Ohne Plastik ist besser. Da wäre ich mit meinem Hobel gerne dabei gewesen!!!
