Lol u can't say kusal mendis is a better opener than danushka based on the last t20. It was just his day. How many times have he seen him failing. Dhanushka is a promising player for some reason he tries to smash every ball without trying to rotate strikes. This is the story of all the SL batsmen this series.

All of the matches we were able to restrict the world champions below the projected score from the pitches they played . Sri lankan bowling were spot on. And also we had couple of close games too.. there are lots of positive than the losses for sri lankan lions. If they improve the batting department they will be hard to beat. Mendis scores a slow half century but it was enough for his side along with Captain Shanaka s 2 maximum sealed Srilanka won by 5 wickets. Earlier Srilanka restricted home side for just 154-6 Wade was the only man who gave some hope for Australia to crosses 150 scoring 43 from just 27 balls Well played 🇱🇰 love from 🇮🇳
I'm Australian but I'm glad that Sri Lanka took a game, they bowled superbly in the games and just couldn't put anything together with the bat until this one. Good stuff all around.

You just have to deal with umpiring errors. No matter how unfair or bias they may be. Remember what Happened to New Zealand in the 2019 World Cup.

@@rishimartin4096 Mate you can't compare 2019 finale incident with this Aus umpires bias. 2019 was really rare incident. This is just a clear wide which didn't called by an ICC Elite panel umpire and the match went to decide by a super over because of that.
And throughout the 5 matches, 3 clear LBWs which was about to hit the middle stump, were not given and saved by the "umpire call" because of impact point. A lot wides and 2 No Balls were not given when SL batting.
Apart from that, Pathum Nissanka got a penalty for saying "F***" (only to blame himself for making a dot ball, not to other players.) but Jish Inglish did the same in the first T20 (when he missed a runout), and misbehave when he was out in the 5th T20, but were not given at least a warning. The tournament proved how biased Aussy umpires towards their country which nothing new to the sport.
There was a wide issue in the last over for Aus in this game as well. Lets call it even.

Bowling was top notch throughout the 5 games. Even in the absence of Hasaranga. Batting has let down every time. Good to see the team's batting kick on in the last game. It would further strengthen with Bhanuka Rajapaksa's inclusion in the coming series. This was more of a learning for the t20 world cup. And now I guess Sri Lanka knows how the team should be prepared for the world cup and who should be where in the team. 🔥❤️🇱🇰.
