Won't feel like Christmas without the Aeroplanes...first of their songs I ever heard, half a lifetime ago, has followed me in sorrows and in joy and everything in between. 💙
Know about them since the 80s but didn't heard a song til few years ago. They deserve so much more, great band from the city that is known for so much various great music (Bristol, of course, from CHAOS UK to TRICKY)
It was the song that introduced me to them. This video came on the ITV Chart Show one Saturday morning in 1989 or thereabouts. Off down to the record shop that afternoon for the CD single, still got it too. Supposed to be seeing them tonight in Glasgow, but alas postponed owing to Gerard's surgery. Get well soon, old son.
RIP Angelo. And thanks for this and much more 😥👍
Rest in peace Angelo.
RIP Angelo Bruschini.
I can't believe this only has 390 likes... deserves 39K

One of the best albums ever!
lovely for you
No idea Angelo had passed until just now, wonderful guitarist.
The unmistakable sound of a Rickenbacker.
Blue Aeroplanes forever .Bristol's finest
This wonderful album needs a thorough remaster and reissue... Still can't believe Angelo is gone.
A university classic

Great song. It got a lot of airplay on Dave Fanning's show in Ireland.
Timelessly wonderful 🤍

Excellente prestation du danceur aux cheveux frisé

An absolute corker - throws me back to great times in Bristol.

A similar story for me, I also saw this video on the Chart Show (Feb 1990) and I've loved the band ever since.
I hope you made it to the rescheduled show in Sept, I was there.
Couldn't go owing to work. I left my ticket money in the kitty.
Such a masterful song, sheer perfection.
Now that is how to do a music video.
Great band and song…
Fabulous
A masterpiece
