No rules as such, just advice. You may have noticed that you think a little differently when you project. You'll either find yourself completely undecided on what to do, leading to a wasted projection. Or, you'll find yourself soley focussed on a specific task, such as trying to fly as high as you can go. It's strange, almost like there is no middle ground between the two states of mind. (At least in my experience) Unfortunately, many people also experience an overwhelming sexual desire when they project. When you combine that with phrases like "you can do whatever you want" and "there are no consequences", projections can easily devolve into a single-minded quest for sexual gratification. And while I'm not suggesting that you can get punished for doing this, there does appear to be very real consequences, which I suspect are unconciously self-imposed. The Etheric reality, where most of us project initially, appears to be made up of various layers, each vibrating at different frequencies. The lower vibrational layers are dreary versions of the waking world with overcast/darkened skies. Some seem to be totally abandonned, others appear to be solely inhabited by negative entities and, you guessed it, projectors focussed on sexual gratification. So my advice would be to decide what you want to achieve in a projection before you have it. It doesn't have to be a single activity, just a plan of some kind that you can follow in stages. This will allow you to keep yourself grounded and get more out of the experience. If you're relatively new to projecting, I would focus on simple, yet highly rewarding things at first. Look at your hands and feet to see if you have a "body". Taste a wild fruit, flower or leaf to see if you have a mouth and whether you can still taste. Maybe try looking at an object in extreme detail, to appreciate just how vivid and hyper-real it appears. Flowers are ideal for this as they often appear to glow with extreme colour. Also, here's a few other general bits of advice: 1. Always get away from your body and bedroom as quickly as possible to avoid being pulled back. Also avoid thinking about your sleeping body. 2. Expect your face to be messed up in mirror reflections, it happens to almost everyone. The reflection you're seeing isn't really "you". 3. Definitely try to jump over a house. It's the craziest feeling ever to experience weightlessness. Don't be alarmed if you start to slowly lose altitude though and yes, it's pretty normal to find yourself flapping your arms like a bird to stay aloft. 4. If you want to go somewhere far away, don't close your eyes and try to imagine being there. Also I wouldn't recommend trying to fly there. Instead, find a closed doorway and believe that the place you want to reach is on the other side of the door as you open it. 5. If you struggle to see, shout "vision now" or "clarity now" until you see better. 6. If your projection starts to dissolve, grab an object and look at it in detail, or spin around on the spot until the projection stabilizes. 7. Avoid using any electronic devices you encounter in the Etheric, especially if your phone appears to be in your pocket. They won't work and the frustration of trying to understand them will end the projection. 8. The same applies to reading text. Short burts are fine, but if you indulge in it, you may experience some weird effects. 9. If you do try flying, avoid going too high initially, it may freak you out! 10. If you feel a strong pull to go somewhere else, particularly if a strange wind or surge seems to be passing around you, then buckle up and enjoy the ride, you're about to leave the Etheric and experience the Astral. Safe travels!

1. Always get away from your body and bedroom as quickly as possible to avoid being pulled back. Also avoid thinking about your sleeping body.
2. Expect your face to be messed up in mirror reflections, it happens to almost everyone. The reflection you're seeing isn't really "you".
3. Definitely try to jump over a house. It's the craziest feeling ever to experience weightlessness. Don't be alarmed if you start to slowly lose altitude though and yes, it's pretty normal to find yourself flapping your arms like a bird to stay aloft.
4. If you want to go somewhere far away, don't close your eyes and try to imagine being there. Also I wouldn't recommend trying to fly there. Instead, find a closed doorway and believe that the place you want to reach is on the other side of the door as you open it.
5. If you struggle to see, shout "vision now" or "clarity now" until you see better.
6. If your projection starts to dissolve, grab an object and look at it in detail, or spin around on the spot until the projection stabilizes.
7. Avoid using any electronic devices you encounter in the Etheric, especially if your phone appears to be in your pocket. They won't work and the frustration of trying to understand them will end the projection.
8. The same applies to reading text. Short burts are fine, but if you indulge in it, you may experience some weird effects.
9. If you do try flying, avoid going too high initially, it may freak you out!
10. If you feel a strong pull to go somewhere else, particularly if a strange wind or surge seems to be passing around you, then buckle up and enjoy the ride, you're about to leave the Etheric and experience the Astral.
