Thank you all for your lovely comments, some of them almost brought me to tears. Gizmo is still with us and doing as she can do, but thank you for all your well wishes, it really means a lot ♥ As for my website www.askleopardgecko.com/ I have begun responding to some of the questions on there😊
The fact you can show footage of Giz from 18 years ago is a testament to how well they have been cared for. Crazy to think theyre also likely one of the most viewed Leopard Geckos in the history of the internet. Crazy life for a little geck.
Aww haha I never really thought about that, but I did feel I had to tell everyone how Gizmo was doing since really for some people she's been part of their lives for the past 12 years lol

Im so sorry to hear about Giz. Shes been a staple on the channel... But she couldnt be in a better home. Shes had a fantastic life, and you'll continue to care for her beautifully until its time for her to go.
Aww Rebecca I'm so sorry! I know you've given her the best! You're so sweet. My Leo Bubba is doing well because of your information. I've taken from many sources, but your knowledge keeps Bubba happy, friendly, and healthy! I love you, your reptiles, and your Videos. Be well mah' lady.
I’m so sorry. My girl had this exact problem and passed. She was only 5, and that completely broke my heart. I still think about her a lot and it still hurts a lot, but she’s not in pain anymore. I spent over $2,000 in vet bills, but I would have spent more if they could have saved her. I am sorry. I hope that you find peace.
I’m so sorry hun I just lost my horse of 24 years in March. It’s so hard when you have had them for such a long time. All you can do is spoil her rotten. Hopefully you will still have a good bit of time together if she is still happy in herself 🖤

I've watched this channel since I was 12 years old and you inspired me to get my first gecko at 14. I remember DM'ing you on instagram years ago asking for vivarium advice. I remember ziggy going and feeling second hand heartbreak. I made my first bioactive 3 footer for a 4 month old gargoyle I obtained yesterday recently, all inspired by the videos I used to binge as a kid. Your geckos have inspired a generation of reptile lovers and though they might age and eventually go, there impact will be felt in the families of those you inspired, in their children and in the geckos that live better lives thanks to your information. Thank you for inspiring me and many others in your community and have my heartfelt condolences on gizmos situation.
I'm so sorry to hear about gizmo loosing someone your close to is always rough, man or beast our bonds we create can be truly intense and special I have no doubt you have given that adorable gecko the absolute best life
That’s definitely worrisome news when it comes to Gizmo. I hope she enjoys her golden years though and I’m glad she’s still remaining active and eating. I fairly recently had my very first reptile pass away due to an extremely sudden heart problem and a blood clot. She was a corn snake named Cortes that meant the absolute world to me and even now I feel broken up about it now many months later. I had her since I was 8 years old, I’m 19 now. I was told by the vet that it wasn’t anything care related, her age and genetics just decided it was time. It’s always important to cherish the animals in your life, I will always be grateful to my snake for helping me get interested in science, reptiles, and reptile keeping.
God bless you for everything you have done for this species. Thoughts and prayers for you both. Do not doubt yourself! Thanks to you. Thousands and more are living longer and better lives due to you videos. Your sharing information and difficulties have helped a lot of animals and people having issues do better.
