So I figured out the difference in story ( from Wikipedia ) is due to story which was originally a play being rewritten by agatha added Christine ( mistress of leonard ).. So both of us were referring to different adaptation, so im not completely wrong.... Also on this story ending , movies were made .. Source - Wikipedia

What a twist.. one of the best crime drama I've ever read.. in my opinion this is better than Sherlock Holmes stories.
