Wait ! They are using fault-tolerant 9-phase (not three phase rubish) electric motors and innverters. Wow ! . Well done Hyundai !

All copied from Hitachi & Mitsubishi. If you want the best elevator, get Hitachi or Mitsubishi.

You force them not to have the same car design like Mitsubishi, you force them to put regular car into fast skyscraper elevator? YOU FORCE THE PASSENGER’S EARS TO BE POPPED? IT’S A LAME AND A SHAME COMMENT, if you can’t be a human, so just get your ass off

Hyundai is one of the best brands. BIFC in Busan has Hyundai elevators with speed of 10m/s

Won D Because nowadays Japanese lifts are the best, but due to the fact that many of them are now resorting to using parts from china, their quality seems to be dropping for some of their lifts. If you can see all the worlds fastest lifts since 1978 have been manufactured by Japanese companies because they have the means of bringing a lot of innovation and solutions to overcome the problems of high rise lifts. Even The otis lifts at Burj Khalifa travel at less than half the speed than the Hitachi observation deck lifts at Guangzhou CTF Finance Centre, despite the observation deck lift at Burj Khalifa having a longer travel distance. Their 10m/s speed is quite slow for a lift traveling that long.

    Traction elevators are going obsolete....
The future is linear electro magnet as in the new thyssen elevators that can also go sideways.
No cables needed anymore that limit speed and height.

All the major elevator companies build in proprietary technologies, so that only they can maintain the equipment. This is so they are able to sell them to a building at a lower cost. They then, recoup their loss by charging higher fees for service and parts. Sometimes the building management refuses to pay higher maintenance fees and endangers the public using the elevator. Code authorities, architects and building managers need to come together to limit the practice of proprietary equipment. Cost for servicing would cost less if any trained technician could maintain and troubleshoot.
