I'm from Bosnia and Herzegovina, 70% of ppl never heard of it but if you make good music with the right marketing you'll be heard, kenny spitting facts
A lot of people in the states are sleeping on the musicians in other parts of the world but especially of SouthEastern Europe/Balkan areas. Some of the baddest cats I know are from there. And (unrelated) but look at the NBA too haha. There’s a lot of talent and hard work being put in..
I'm in Roundup Montana... Only on bandlab... Under "Rose Covered Gas Mask" And I want to mix Bluegrass with today's electronic music.. As a performer I've got 8 years on drums and 2 years of not knowing how to use my DAW right lol I've got a family.. I almost feel like it's impossible to get my dream... And that is the knowledge and power to create what's in my mind.. And hope the world loves it And gives me that 15mins to do what I feel is why I'm here on this planet... I'm just not the best.. I'm struggling what to truly learn as fast as I can without getting overwhelmed.. Blessings and love everyone.. 🥀🥀🥀🥀
I know that "if you make good music it doesn't matter where you are from" is a truth in itself. But actually, it does matter and we all know it. There are VPN restrictions around the world. If you are from a country that not alot of people know about, your chances to get heard and reach out to the platforms are smaller. Yes, you can buy a vpn, but you still have to face issues like: Time Zones, language barriers, marketing and at the end of the day it comes to: You need to relocate to countries like USA, Canada, UK and such...
I get what Kenny is saying here but his example of Slowthai and UK artists is bad. Camden and Shoreditch are literally as central as anyone really could possibly live in London. They are and have been literal music hubs for decades before those artists. I’d also add, it’s wayyyy more likely that you collaborate and connect with people if you all live local (London). Gotta be surrounded with like minded people to get anywhere. Unless you’re a generational genius like Richard James 😂

You don’t understand how the internet works if you think you need a vpn to reach people over seas
Bruh I’m just watching the pong
I can't get through, TH-cam doesn't grow, Spotify doesn't grow. Perhaps my music is crap 😅
how do i get my beats out there tho
you can go on the internet and make connections with other artists in a matter of hours. make yourself known on discord servers, forums, etc
@@stultusAKAfoolish thanks bro. ik it’s a vauge question but i rlly appreciate the answer
@@stultusAKAfoolish Thanks bro that's a real good answer

Bryson and jack did it so I can too!
Bro not everyone is moving to LA anymore are you kidding me it's becoming a wasteland
But it is easier to get taken advantage of. make sure to get a good lawyer and your house is in order
