I lived in New York City for 13 years and I was just In New York yesterday. I can't believe how much cleaner and better-maintained Chicago appears to be than New York. I'll have to visit Chicago soon. I've only been there once, and it was a long time ago.
Chicago has always been in a class of its own! It’s just too damn beautiful and huge! The neighborhoods are next level of Victorian and charming that just takes your breath away!
I love Chicago. Have visited numerous times. My best experience was taking my young teenage kids and exploring the city. My favorite is taking a river boat tour and seeing the city from the river. WOW!
Beautiful city. Adore it's layout. I love how airy and open it is. Most other cities just look over run and too crowded. Also so interesting that it's the birthplace of the skyscraper.
Love downtown Chicago and I'm not even a fan of skyscrapers or huge buildings but Chicago has something special to it. It has a grand feel that not many other downtowns have. Maybe New York or Tokyo compare.

Wow I’m impressed. From google earth it doesn’t seem like much but wow Chicago has really changed from the 90s. The streets look beautiful and the city has done a great job with rehabilitating old buildings and also the costs are still low. Now I just hope they do the same for their public transit. Recently they also managed to keep the population steady and more people are moving into the city high is always a good sign. Come on NYC you can learn a thing or two from Chicago,
