Pro-tip, if you’re gonna criticize Queer people, know your lines.
    ..
But as for the theology of this.. it’s a bit rough.
The state of Adam or Adam & Eve is not the state in which all humans must exist. In the perfection of the Garden Adam & Eve were naked, childless vegans.
Adam and Eve also do not represent the fullness of human culture or appearance or even human religious practice. Adam and Eve never went to a church. You can not base our morality off of whether or not one or two people did something.
But if we were we would still have problems, notably that Adam and Eve were not married in any traditional sense. And also the verse “it is not good for man to be alone” is far more explicit than your claim about sexual orientation.

    As for 1 Corinthians 6:9, h
“Homosexual” is a well-known mistranslation. It is an anachronistic stand-in for a word with no known translation.
It is highly irresponsible to imply that homosexuality is something that can be “cured”, especially when verse like 1 Corinthians 7:9 discourage idea that sexuality can be changed or suppressed.

It is also completely contrary to the central message of the Gospel that God’s Grace can be undone by sin. Singling out Queer people in this regard suggests some prejudiced ideas about Queer people and some blasphemous ideas about God.

@@dansaber8435 Repentance based on violating the law of a holy and righteous God. The whole point of the video was to show that you cannot claim to be a Christian, but then totally neglect God's commands. If a person is practicing sin that God's word explicitly says will exclude you from the kingdom of heaven (i.e. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10), that person is deceiving themselves. That is the whole point of why we made the video, we don't want people deceiving themselves into thinking they are Christians, when in fact they are not. And the good news is that as Paul says in verse 11, "and such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." That is past tense. Some of the Christians in Corinth had previously practiced a homosexual lifestyle, but by God's grace and the work of the Holy Spirit had repented and turned from their sin and were no longer engaging in such things. As Paul says elsewhere in 2 Corinthians 5:17 "therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." When we repent and believe in Christ we are no longer enslaved to the sins which previously bound us, but are a new creation in Christ.
