30 years ago it was poppin off between SR 70/53rd ave and 72nd ave. Used to be all dirt roads around the old jail house and the Island was notorious. Used to be one of my fave spots 🤣
@southern life you where in Oneco but you didn’t ride through Oneco . You never go through the neiborhoods or side streets in Bradenton Oneco etc. You only stay on main roads
I lived in Oneco in 2&3rd grade late 60s. It was my territory when I was in ad sales 40 years later. You totally missed the hood. @16:20 on 57th you turned away from the hood. Go up a couple blocks turn left. You’re there. Actually most places off to the right from 57th to the airport are pretty ghetto. The area behind Super stop was where baseball star Josh Hamilton would do heroin.
There's serious MS style hood there.I had a cop pull me over at night just to tell me this is not a safe place to be driving. It is segregated, like Ft.Myers and most of FL is.If you don't match the local population, you are not ok to be there.Bradenton is huge with ok and good and total ghetto. There are several no go areas.
Well duh thats everywhere. If you dont match the local population its not okay. Cali is even worse its places in la blacks cant go in a mexican area. Segragation never ended its alive everywhere.
? Nothing really. I just hang out with my wife I don’t really know people or anything like that. I used to be social but i learned its best to be alone so really out of touch with the streets. Which is good i think. Bradenton is nice good beaches and chill places
I came down to south Florida 01 on the east coast than down to south beach ..Deerfield beach to boca raton…anyway I landed here ..I ran around with this chick name Jessica skinny American Indian looking chick we called her Pocahontas she looked just like her she would run tricks with the Mexicans for cash that was her hustle..about 15 years ago there was a trailer there .and a flea market with a bunch of store stalls .u could sell out of it was called the ..la Mexicana flee market…there was a trailer there like I said and the only one there .and a guy who drew paintings and sold them there ..his name was the starving 🧑🎨.well at least that’s what he called himself and people that rented out there knew him but he would take in the transients..drinkers drug users..well I lived in his shed for a while..lol ya Jess and I did and this dude namened bob ..anyway behind that store I think there used to be a pond if I’m not mistaken..but there was about 50 people that lived back there a whole bunch of trash was back there ..they called it skid row. I left on a plane from Sarasota international airport about 3 miles up the street and never came back..I always wondered what happened to all those people..god bless u Jess and I’m sorry I couldn’t t take u with me ..I couldn’t never have a sexual relationship with her because I’m pretty sure she was hiv positive…I was in bad shape..I was an in user doctor shopping…anyway god bless u jess
LOL my sister lives in Oneco- on 17th Street East- it's actually not bad. She has some nice neighbors :) It's a lot of Latinx families. I love the little fruit/veggie stand right down the street where you can buy shrimp for bait as well! She did say that there is gang activity a few miles away though, but I have never had any issues when visiting her- she's been there over 20 years.
That car wash usually doesn't work most of the time ! I am glad you were not approached by drug dealers! That's not the real hood its off of 9th street east and in between 53th ave east and 59 th and even further towards Sarasota before the airport! Don't go there ! Its very sketched!🤗
941 baby💯💯💯 I grew up on these streets

It's originally pronounced One-Co 😂 also know as the Hood/Ghetto.. Was Once Indian Land and how they got the name One-Co to start with... 😂

This may be the single most boring video I’ve ever seen in my life. Could be the hosts.
How you gonna make a video about the oneco Hood and not even go into the oneco Hood lmao

The last part of the video was so close to the worst part but you are in the hood for real ! I hate Bradenton ! Wish I could afford to leave! 🙏🙏🙏🤗
Go to the beach 🏝️ it helps. Enjoy what the area has to offer 😊
You were right on the edge of the hood but you never went in... Should have kept going straight past J Lo's
We gotta do more bradenton videos
