Hey Friends! Just wanted to put this out there, I mislabeled my rounds and accidently missed round 6, if you just keep crocheting like I do in the video you will still get the same outcome. Sorry about my mistake and I hope this clears some things up for yall!! Thanks for watching!!!
I was in the middle of making my 6th yip yip body and realized there was no row 6 in my notes ... came to original video to see if anyone else had posted about it ... thanks for clearing it up ... loving this tutorial!
Well lm going to have a bash at making Easter yip yips for my grand bairns. And l can't even crochet. AND lm left handed! That's how confident l am. You're a natural teacher and have a wonderful gift. Thank you so much for sharing. Wish me luck!! Hugs from a wet and rainy Nova Scotia.
Same here! My sister sent me a reel of the yip yips and said I want one for my chapstick!! Here I am writing down the pattern so I can go bust a few out.
Made this last night in teal (with a 4mm hook so it can hang in my car) i added a small piece of cardboard in the bottom so its sturdier to hold my chapstick and change 😊 thanks so much for this easy tutorial!
Enjoying this cute little design-so thankful that you took the time and energy to put it out there for the rest of us!! I LOVE making silly things that make me smile whenever I look at it, and I love sharing that feeling with the people in my life:-). So thank you so much!! (Btw, I always drop comments on the tutorials I use on TH-cam, I know it helps the designer to have likes and comments, so it’s such a small way to pay back the gift the designers give us when they share their talents!! Everyone needs to like, share and comment to help your fave designers!!)
So stinkin' CUTE!!! I'm 53 years old and I still love the Yip Yips!! I actually Yip Yipped at my sister a few months ago, so she yip yipped back and we fell out laughing!! It had been several years since I had thought of them but she had asked me something to which I had a yes response and I yip yipped instead!!! The kids didn't know what t think and we had to pull them up to show them what they are!!! LOL!!! Thank you for sharing this cute perfect little creation! the pattern and your tutorial are easy to understand and work into a Yip Yip!!! Love your channel, love you, you ROCK!!! Much Love and many blessings!!
Omg when I saw this pattern for free on TH-cam I screamed with joy, thank you so much! I wanna make one as an air freshener holder for my hubby's car for Father's Day 😊
Thank you for this post. My daughter saw the short video of this and wanted me to make it. I found your video instructional how to and you are so easy to follow. And I just love these yip-yips so darn cute. And so easy to make thanks to you showing me how. ❤ I’ll be making more than three that she wants. I am not a person who can crochet from printed instructions, so thankful for people like you who take time to make a video I can flow easily. God Bless and thank you again .
As an advanced crocheter I love this pattern I’m a child of Sesame Street I made my eyes much bigger myself but came out ok . You do go very quickly and I had to stop and slow this video down a lot. Esp with the decreasing . Ty again
Thank you SO much for this tutorial! I'm a beginner and found it super easy to follow once I figured out the magic circle. I added a pipe cleaner to the head for their antennae. I can't wait to make more! ❤
I can't believe I'm seeing these, nobody knows what I'm talking about when I bring them up‼️I ❤d & was terrified by these guys when I was a child. I had weird fascination with them‼️But am very happy to see them as an adult ‼️ Couldn't find many videos with them in it ‼️ Yours look just like I remember, great job ‼️😻🙏🇺🇲
This is so awesome. I love Sesame Street. I grew up watching these guys, and I've just recently introduced the show to my lil niece. She would love these. Great job.
Thank you so very much for this fun video!! You explain everything so well! I wanted something fun for my grandkids Easter basket. My daughter didn’t want a lot of candy , these will hold a sweet little toy and a piece of candy!! Thank you! You’ve made my day!!
I never comment on TH-cam videos but as soon as I saw how u hold ur hook and wrap ur yarn I about fell over. I have never seen anyone hold their hook and wrap their yarn like me, until now😊 I thought the way I crochet was weird and awkward compared to everyone else but now I don't feel that a way knowing there is another person like me😁 great pattern, can't wait to try it.
Awwwwww! I've never met anyone who crochets like me either! I don't understand how people can crochet with their left index finger up and yarn wrapped all around their fingers 😆 also knife holding the hook is just more comfortable than pencil hold (for me at least). I'm so glad you found me! Thank you for your comment and hopefully I will see you in the chat ofone of my lives sometime!
This is such a great tutorial! Easy to follow and i love that you put the pattern steps in writing. Keep up the good work and thank you for such a helpful video. 💖💖
I started this last night and finished this morning, it turned out amazing!! Thank you sooo much for this video! I’ll try and get a pic and tag you before I send it off 🥰
I was literally just looking for a Yip Yip pattern on a crochet FB group I belong to and your video was recommended! Fantastic tutorial! I'm excited to make one!
@@LittleBittyNoggins "Crochet for Beginners and Beyond" Yip Yips have been popular lately. I've seen a few different tutorials but I like yours the best.
Thanks so much, I enjoyed the way you conveyed the pattern to us it's like we were sitting there crocheting together. I'll send you a picture when I get done I enjoyed it very much thanks again
I try to make my patterns as easy to understand as possible and as personable as possible! I hope to see you in the chat of one of my lives some time, then we can really be sitting together crocheting! 🙂
Thank you so much, my friends asked if I could make these, I’m so pleased I found your pattern and tutorial, it was so easy to follow and I had fun making them, thank you x❤
Thanks so much for the pattern! A friend of mine saw one and asked me to make one but i could only find the large size pattern for a while. Much appreciated and very cute!
This is exactly what I was looking for! The other ones were too large and odd looking lol this is perfect! Just finished one and I love it. Thank you so much!
Thank you for the great tutorial! I’m going to make one for each one of my grandkids for their Easter gift! So if I get them finished in time (3 days to make all) I will post a picture!🌹🎶
Great tutorial! Anyone who doesn't have their index finger sticking up is good in my opinion. Also your handling of the magic circle is brilliant. My granddaughter would definitely need to slow motion though lol!
I crochet with my finger up. I control my yarn with my pinkie and index fingers. I am good by the way. It's just how I learned to crochet. No one way is better than the other. It's just like grip. Some people prefer the knife hold (me), some prefer the spoon hold.
Love this pattern! Thank you. Going to try it using Bernat Blanket size 6 yarn and a 7mm hook. Have someone who wants one for their granddaughter's room as a basket.
I made one in red an yellow yarn with mint green eyes so far ty for sharing this pattern although I had to slow the video way down to see the stitches for a beginner ❤❤❤
this is EXACTLY what ive been looking for. perfect size. i'm going to make some for a few upcoming markets i'm doing. I can't wait to see if they sell. I'll be posting this first one i did to my social media tomorrow after I take some pictures. i'll be sure to tag you. Thanks for posting this tutorial. i greatly appreciate it.

So do we crochet 7 rows instead of 8? Or do we crochet 9 rows to get to 1row 14?
Its 8 total rows of single crochet. It should be rows 6-13.
Thank you!!😊😊
You're the bomb diggity!! Just makin sure I'm not crazy! LOL Thank you so much!

Very CUTE! Wonder if this could be translated to a laundry bag size? No more dirty laundry on the floor with these Yip Yips around!🤗🙏
Don't see why not!!!! That would be adorable!!!
There is a pattern for a laundry sized one. 😊🧶
Great idea 💡
pretty sure if you keep increasing it even after round 4 and following round 5 after, you’ll get a much larger Yip Yip as a result
