For me, the goal is coming home to a clean house. I want everything done and clean. So that way I can come home and relax.
My husband and his siblings ate an entire bottle of Flintstone vitamins when they were little. His mom got out of the shower, saw them and rushed them to the ER. They had to have their stomachs pumped. He doesn’t remember much from his childhood but he remembers that.

Mai, i've seen on tiktok that there's a thing on front loading washers that you have to drain and clean. I think it's a filter on the front bottom behind a little door. Supposedly you're supposed to clean it every few months at the minimum. I think it would be a good "eww this is so gross" cleaning moment for you.
My washing machine alerted me that it had to be cleaned and I had to google what it was lol! It went everywhere and also was gross 🤮

I LOVE doing all my laundry, towels, fresh sheets on the bed, dishes put away and house vacuumed before a trip so that all I have to do when we get back is unpack and worry about the dirty laundry from the trip. I would hate to have to come home and clean the house too!

I clean my house in the days before and I have from vacation called my mom to tell her that I forgot to start the dishwasher and she went over and ran it so I had clean dishes! Moms are the best

YES! I do the same thing before any vacation (even if it’s only one night away lol), but I do it bc I HATE coming home to a messy house after being away! The feeling of returning home to a nice clean house is the best…I compare it to the feeling of sleeping in clean sheets 🙌🏻🥰 Side note, I love all your videos and I appreciate how “real” you are, especially when it comes to cleaning and organizing!

I am the same way before a vacation. Nothing better than coming home to a clean home with fresh bedding. I would love to see a video on what your family is eating for the week. I am trying to cut out on sugar and dyes due to some health concerns and if I remember correctly your family has done that as well!

I’d definitely try a magic eraser on the hair dye stain. I’ve used it on stains I thought would be impossible to fix and it miraculously either completely removes it or at least greatly improves it. Definitely think it’s worth a try. Good luck! 👍🏼

I clean like a maniac before vacation because coming home from vacation is depressing enough….at least I come home to a tidy house. 🙂
When our children were young, I did pre-vacation cleaning. My reasoning was this: If police or firemen needed to break down my door while we were away, I wanted them to enter and say "This lady keeps such a nice home, we should do our best to save it for her!". My husband could never understand either that I loved coming home to a clean and tidy home so that we could put away our clothes, etc. and only have laundry to do.
I purely liked this video because It was sitting at 999 and my like was the 1000th one 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
We often travel with the family due to my husband's work (overseas and in Europe), so I am pretty used to traveling. We try to keep things tidy before we leave, mainly because my husband's relatives always move into our apartment to take care of our cats. 😀😻So we are highly motivated to leave them a clean apartment.😃

I’m on this panicy “get it all done” train before Kindergarten starts too woot woot! 🚂 So happy we made a Target run yesterday with Dad on board, list in hand! Our youngest just turned 1 so did a lot of purging. I’m so happy with the amount of clothes & baby gear we’re giving to the next mom to be🥹

Try isopropyl alcohol for the hair dye or nail polish remover but test it in an inconspicuous spot first to be sure it won’t mess up the counter.

Stone Tech has product to clean stone, marbel and composite countertops. You do need to ventilate to the max.

You can remove hair dye from stone. Hydrogen peroxide and talc powder. Look up what type of stone because you have to choose the strength of the HP and the type of stone makes that determination.
IDK what schools are like for where you live, but at least in NYC/NY state schools separate twins into different classrooms. Source: am a twin and my sister and I weren't in the same classes except for third grade, and fifth grade. (There were special circumstances for third grade, for fifth grade I think they made a mistake but the school didn't do anything about it).

Try nail polish remover to remove the hair dye of your countertop. 🙂
I do the same thing before I go out of town, for two reasons. 1., When I get back home, I only need to deal with whatever we just unloaded from the car and then everything is done. 2., If something awful happens and I don't come back home, I want whoever goes in there to not have to deal with dried ketchup on the table and random piles that won't make sense to their brains. Morbid, I know, but I don't want their memory of me to be "Wow, she had a lot of dirty clothes under her bed."

I used to work at a school and they wouldn’t allow twins to be in the same class after kindergarten.
I’m a lot older but I have never been able to leave with a dirty or messy house. Dirty clothes. You come home and why would you want to come home to a mess and then add to it. I’d be overwhelmed
