    I no longer have to dream about an Azimut. This Sea Ray L 650 is an amazing accomplishment and now that its here it seems long overdue. Sea Ray quality is second to none so I hope it has appeal outside of the US as well.

    I had to take second look at this beauty! And if you want to make changes to the exterior or interior, they work with you 100% and they give you their undivided attention 125% which is a major accomplishment!! Oh my gosh, so many nice boats to think of and there can only be 1... this and the 510 Fly are also on the list of possibilities...

    Brilliant video. I absolutely love operating CAT diesel engines. Caterpillar is the best in the business. This boat must be a dream to drive. Cheers!

    80 Litres and hour at cruise, top speed litres per minute must be roughly 150 litres per hour.

    Can a boat like this travel the world? Like can it go to Asia from California without stopping to refuel?

    • @georgepopescu1327
      @georgepopescu1327 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      lol, no, if you want to cross the Pacific in this boat, you have to refuel alt least 3 times, and that is if you drive very slow at 7-8 knots, if you drive like in the video you have to refuel 15 times at least :)))

    • @georgepopescu1327
      @georgepopescu1327 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      he can do it with a powerboat too, but he has to plan he's trip very carefully, to reach land in time to refuel (there are plenty islands in pacific where you can refuel)

    • @georgepopescu1327
      @georgepopescu1327 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      there is also the option to take alot of fuel in plastic tanks, but the boat will look like a cargo :))

      George Popescu lol it's not like I can ever afford one of these boats. I was just wondering because I only see sailboats doing these sailing around the world things.
      And if I was ever a millionaire and got the chance to do this, I feel like sailboats are too uncomfortable being always sideways and too much work with adjusting sails and all of that.
      The power boats seem like you just turn the engine on and drive, and it's pretty even and not sideways like a sailboat

      there are other boats designet for travelling long distances, search for explorer yachts, they have completly different design

      Dimitry Raskolnikov Best thing to do is look for a one year used boat say the 2017 model and you'll be very close to the price of the 2018......I did my research all week for boats I want in this catagory and this model won. I'm buying January 1..... My friend worked ate the recent boat show in ft And he said Searay sold 35 yachts... average price between $1.5-$2.3 mill.....So there must be something to Searay if they outsold Everyone....Good luck

    Maybe the fly bridge is so large because they forgot about the dingy?

    • @liljay300000

      +cornskid its only a 65 foot it doesn't need a dingy

    • @ModelBuilders
      @ModelBuilders 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      cornskid Don't need to. Its only 65 feet long, most docks in Florida are 85+ feet long. No need for a dingy.

      I really like this boat, but the Searay line has little range. Do not need cabins if you don't go anywhere. Are they just for people who have too much money and need to impress the neighbors?

    Meh, American boats when they are compared to this boats rival like the Princess 64 Flybridge, and the Sunseeker 68 Sport Yacht just don't seem as classy, this boat has the American idea of class, it might be cheaper then its other European rivals like the Azimut 64, and Ferretti 650, but it doesn't make it better.

    Love the boat, great size I really like the flybridge. Only one thing could make this boat better and that would be Volvo IPS. Two 1200's would be incredible!
