Likewise I too wept. My reason is that I was born in England of a Scots mother. I found myself only last Sunday, referring to the my birthplace as the United Kingdom. I learnt many Scots songs from my melodeon, mouthorgan and penny whistle playing uncle, who played by ear. I failed to find employment in Scotland, being told I was the wrong class of person and why don’t you go back to where you come from there are no jobs for you here. That was in the 1970s. I’ve recited Robert Burns in Australia and told, “It would have helped if we knew the language. I share this to say that I am who I am, and there are I am sure here in Australia who have the same experience. Whoever filmed this, has truly featured the reality of family life, in contrast to those of the political class who only wheel their spouse and children out such that they might be elected. Enough said.

If you see what is happening in New Zealand then you know what is coming your way if you don't. We are increasingly divided as a nation and have politicians pushing the UN-sponsored indigenous peoples agenda. The issue is that allot of people dont care for aboriginal people they just care to push a trend of accepting anything so woke.. And its more due to the young gen which is the Generation that can ruin the world as we know it.

    Colin's words are powerful.
We'd never, and should never, tolerate some bureaucrats dividing our families along made up racial lines ....
We have one race in Australia --- the human race.
All of us come from blended families, who in times past may have been on opposing sides of war or political tensions, but they didn't bring any of that when they arrived here, but married, and united cultures, those long threads of the tapestry that is our cultural heritage.

Albanese is becoming very deceitful as we move ever closer to the voice Referendum making the claim that Australia's Solicitor Stephen Donaghue says the Voice to Parliament would enhance Australia's democracy.
This is only Stephen Donaghue's personal opinion prepared for the parliamentary committee and was not the solicitor-general’s legal advice presented to his cabinet prior to the wording being released.
No Government ever releases, advice to cabinet
Stop the crap Albo and release the Solicitor General's formal advice to the government, rather than an opinion crafted for

It was instilled in me and my 14 other siblings that color of the skin has nothing to do with equality. We all have blood and bleed red. We are only human beings earthlings. The color of your skin is genetic and also a lot to do with climate . If you want equality give a voice to all or give it to none .Vote NO to vote yes is a vote for racism and division
